Darknesz before harvest

Right anyone tried this ? I no most people harvest before lights come on but read 72 hrs of darkness will produce more resin. I've obvioysly tried finding abit out about this but not really found a straight answer its who u ask. Does anybody no for sure and has some science/stats to prove or disprove ? The Stichting Institute of Medical Marijuana i heard a few say but i couldn't c out except them saying yes upto 30% and others saying there test are not reliable, can anybody put me straight on this.

Doesn't matter, higher resin content doesn't necessarily mean better or stronger bud

Trichomes cannot develop and mature in 3 days. I do recommend harvesting in the morning though, UV breaks down THC and repairs itself in the dark.

Question : trics repair in the dark would that mean a greater dark cycle be for the harvest would increase the repair of trics that are not healed in a standered 12 hour dark period?

Yes but in nature there's no such thing as a 24-72 hour dark period, thus it not be genetically predisposed to "repair" itself passed a certain point. Evolution: 1, The rest of us monkeys: 0

Just cut before the lights come on or slightly after.
