would like to hear from anyone who has grown this out & main questions are how much does it stretch after the flip? & how is the finished product? I'm growing a single plant under a 250-400 switchable hps she has been in my room under 250w. for 16 days using a homemade dwc with a dripper IMG_1425.JPG

I went ahead & flipped as common as this is I figured someone in the Bay Area, sac. or the Central Valley has to have grown her out IMG_1445.JPG

I grew her out. She stretched a lot but I had her in a scrog so it was manageable. Lanky for sure.

I believe I took her around 74 days. Big yields of nice diesely buds. It was not as sour as other sour diesel plants I've grown. I did really like it though. Great head high. :)

Looking good, herk. I just picked up one of Dark Heart's Sour Diesels yesterday. I've been wanting to try this one for awhile.

If their Sour D is as good as you're saying, Bob, she'll be getting added to my breeding project in the fall. The plan is to reverse my Sherbet to make S1's, and two crosses, with Grape Ape, and possibly Sour Diesel. I just need to get my hands back on Grape Ape by then.

I was thinking long term this would a prime candidate to cross with something like sour grapes or a grape stomper short term I'm coming off 2 back to back grows that we're less than ideal I think this is gonna break the cycle she grows really nice I've cloned her so soon I will know how she clones I'm also wanting sour patch kids

tomorrow will be 1 month since kicking this off picked up a gg#4 baby yesterday which will be the 3rd dark heart strain I've grown to date blue mountain collective which is about a mile from the house just recently started carrying dark heart clones which is convenient for me as I used to go to rcp in Sacramento to get them only drawback is I no longer get to hit Golden Corral in Elk Grove when I make a clone run lol I did clone the sour'd & will the gg#4 as wellIMG_1525.JPGIMG_1527.JPG

Herk, is there a huge line at Blue Mountain Collective to get DHN clones, like there is at RCP?

no but they're small & don't have the selection but you can call & find out exactly what they have at the time in & out in about 20 min. except maybe the first visit it is a converted duplex pretty small laid back program

that Scrog is 29x29 just a bit large for my 400 hps so I'm only filling 24x24 to keep my buds nice & tight it's almost time to prune some of the non productive stuff off I'm not the sharpest at this Scrog stuff some strains really respond to it especially the stretchy ones

Cool. I'm just trying to get my hands back on Grape Ape. It's a minimum 12 hour commitment waiting in line at RCP these days and I've done it for the last four weeks straight. Driving three hours round trip to Blue Mountain is way more feasible for me at this point.

grape ape was there about 3 weeks ago I was considering it but decided against it you can call them on Saturday & ask as what is listed on Dhn drop list is not always the whole story they answer the phone pretty prompt & always polite to me this is a small town 2,000 people & a small operation but still a hub for the area a little old fashioned but cool I would suggest you call them & get an idea of how they do things rcp can be a real cluster

I was making the drive to Dhn as well as jumping through hoops to get a clone just a lot of unnecessary hassle the girl from blue mountain says to call Thursday afternoon & they'll know what they're getting 209-754-3289

another thing I did when I had to drive to rcp or the Bay Area for clones is I would duct tape Dixie cups to the inside of my ice chest to hold the clones while transporting & then throw a shirt or towel over it in summertime to keep the sun off it works good even if you have to make a stop or 2 along the way hopefully you can make something work I'm pretty happy with dark heart so far just not the rcp experience I now clone just about everything after the experience of getting a really good cut of 707 headband thinking I could go right back & get it again to this day I haven't got that same cut

I like a stretchy strain & this does not disappoint I fed @ 890 ppm 4-5 days later she is down to 410 & 2 weeks into 12/12 she is blowing up this is supposed to be a 10-12 week strain this might get interesting....I'm gonna have to try this under a better light IMG_1551.JPGIMG_1552.JPG

she is a slow developer & im sure she is gonna be every bit the 12 week strain I flipped may 4th by the 25 th first bud nubbins & you can tell by the pics these buds are in an early stage of development she also has a good amount of stretch she grows good gives me no problems responds well to pruning & supercropping but be warned she is slow to flower I'm hoping she is gonna save the best for last she is also a good feeder in dwc averaging 100+ ppm. daily & about a gallon of water top -off so far not a lot of smell but it's early yetIMG_1875.JPGIMG_1876.JPG IMG_1877.JPGIMG_1878.JPG
