Aloha! uhh, :( poor cobs, I think he learned the lesson... I'll be getting the HS in a week, so I'll post some pictures when I get them :).

Also, I decided to change the drivers, here a picture, just pay attention to the driver, not that COB :P

Regards!!

Bonjour
Did you already buy this?
Don't!
It is only 86% efficient...nothing under 90%...hlg are 94%...and 7 years guarantee! In two months this company will be close...and I did like to tell you I know the difference in electric costs between a 86% and a 94% but I don't in fact but I do like to know!
Have a great day ★

Hi! I can't get the HLG, nobody sell them here, and no seller will honor the 7Y guarantee (where I live). It's >88% (min. 88%). I haven't bought them yet.

Get ahold of Jerry @ KingBrite. He is in China but will ship just about anywhere. He has been shipping to many of us around the world.

[email protected]

He can provide you with Cree/Vero COBS and Meanwell HLG drivers as well as holders and lenses.

What do you mean check it? The invoice he sent me showed about $41 in merchandise. If they look at it, it looks legit.

I know what you mean... Here, they check the products, and many times they quote the goods as they like, not what says in the invoice, yes, it sucks...

Hi! is it posible to drive the 9 COBs with this MeanWell HLG-185H-C700? Because the ideal holder says that supports max 250V, and that driver is 286V Max

Regards!

Bonjour
Ideal holder is just a piece of metal who hold the cob to the hs...
You could run 8 cxb 3590 36V on 1 hlg-185-700 (200w...23 each)
Cxb 3590 32V are 32.72v each @700mA and 64% efficient (207lm/w)
Have a great day ★

Maybe there was some talk about it above, but I'd highly suggest 99% ISO for a task like this. It works great for cleaning sinks and other PC electronic components. Avoid the watered down 70% that they have to sell to the masses in stores. I did some searching and found some 91% at a local store, but its likely easier to order online...and have the 99%.

Your only putting 30 odd volts(whatever the led needs relative to current drive your using) into each Ideal holder not 286V, the driver regulates voltage

So, update on the build, it's finished, tomorrow they're going 12/12, I attach some pictures, of the process, tomorrow more pics. Also to compare, I attach a photo of the same plants that were lighted with a 400W MH, and the intensity is far more with the COBS, If you look directly for a couple of secods, you get blinded jaja.

How do you move your panel?
Are you in bloom?
Because your plants looks a bit tall...do you know cxb @1400mA have 1 feet maybe 16in penetration no more without reflector or lenses!
So growing tall plants is a waste of time imo...but I don't tell you how to grow just my opinion!
You should try lst and bending to fill your space faster and with less plants!
