(Cut the balls off?) Question on hermaphrodite plant

Of my original 6 plants I am down to 3 (3 were male). I'm on the third week of flowering and just saw that one of the plants which I originally though was male is growing a few balls... there are a lot of buds starting to grow and only a few of the balls coming from the stem, so I was wondering if cutting the balls off would work until harvest or do I need to just go ahead and kill it?

This is my first grow and I really appreciate any assistance anyone can provide as I don't want to completely lose yet another plant. Thanks!

Are they all 3 the same strain? Were they clones? I ask this for other reasons- sometimes having a few seeds is not a bad thing. However U can cut the balls off and give it a foiliar spray (Can't remember what it's called, but it's used for this type of situation to sterilize the male pollen).

Reverse spray from dutch master works like a charm IF... your plant is only showing a few balls and not full on hermie AND you have corrected any source of stress like light leaks. I had a mother show balls after I had taken a ton of clones, sprayed twice with reverse and found 2 seeds in over a pound.

I would first get the plant in another place away from the others until your sure of what you have. I had same thing happen to me. After 6 1/2 weeks of flowering, BAMM!! Hermi, and it pollinated all others, 5 altogether. It was still good smoke though. Peace, good luck

No they are all unknown strains... the only one that I actually knew the strain of was killed a couple of days ago for being a male. They were all grown from seed.

I'll take some pics shortly to post so you can see what i'm talking about.

Those balls are big! It may already be too late. Hope you removed it from your flowering room, also try not to shake it the pollen can become airborne. Good luck and happy growing.

Hell ya they are! Full on hermie. Pollen has probably already spread. If you see the pistils dying suddenly, you've got pollination.

Those are some big gorilla balls!!! It has progressed pretty far, and I don't think cutting them off or spraying them will have much effect...

I was gonna say that the plant was wack and I'd destroy it, especially since its a badseed. I've breed skywalker and ak47 before, but what's so special about that male? Throw him outside, hopefully you only get a couple seeds out of your other two plants, not like ur growing for $$$$ so a few seeds wont harm anything. MURDER DAT SHIZZZ

I just noticed them 3 days ago so that sucks. How long after they start growing do they normally take to pollinate?

I think for my first grow I've done a pretty decent job with my plants so far less that blunder. I'll post a few more pics of this plant and a couple of pics of the other two after the next light cycle starts... that way if nothing else I can confirm with everyone that this plant is a hermie instead of full on male... it definitely looks like it has pistils growing.

Best getting rid of it to another room if you want to keep growing it but remove it from any females NOW !!!!!!

The seeds will turn out as male plants unless you breed them with a female plant.
The genetics will be passed on and produce male plants if not bread.
Thats the only way to produce seeds, pollinating a female. A true male never buds nor seeds. I don't believe there is any such thing as a male only seed.
