Curling Leaves mostly new growth

I have 4 plants from bagseed in a bubbler hydroponics setup with Foxfarm nutes (no ppm meter so i did recommended amount on back of bottle) in a 10 gallon container. Plants are about 7 or 8 weeks old and filling out nicely with no problems except some of the newer top growth leaves are curling not at the tips or edges but right down the base of the leaf's spine. The curling is like the leaf is arching it's back but it does not run the length of the leaf just about half way down only in the center. Some of my leaves look a little ruffled and darker than usual too. Interestingly enough when this happened to 2 of the 3 indica plants, the 1 sativa seemed to get healthier and experience a growth spurt. Maybe it was just when it would have happened anyways but it definitely shot up at the same time the others started to have problems. Any ideas? They don't look bad and i just changed water/nutes and corrected ph to 6.8

Yes...if you're growing hydro drop your ph from 5.6 to 6.2. 6.8 is WAY too high for hydro apps.....

I'd try really hard to get a ppm meter if I were you......you'll be VERY glad you did.

Good luck.

Dropped ph to 6 but the problem seems unchanged overnight. I'll keep you posted. I may be overfeeding cuz i do use a lot of nutes but there is no burn and no other signs of stress. Most leaves are a thick lush healthy green. I think i'll just try flush them for a few days in a week or so when i'm gonna do a res change.

It can never hurt (in my humble opinion only) to use 1/4 strength nutes or even just ph'd water for a few days when you feel the plants are stressed out in some way.

Keep your ph level very stable....good luck. :)

I'm wondering if not having a PH meter (using drops) is messing with them since my little color coded card only goes to 6 ph if it's yellow i stop adding but maybe i'm over adjusting down. I'll see what i can do next time i res change but for now they are def growing and look a little better. I did a little less nutes last res change and i think they are adjusting ok. I'll drop again next change which will be last before flowering. I think they might be a little hot too as i have seen the temp at 82 and 84 sometimes.
