Crossing with big yielding genetics

So I want to make some seeds next grow around, and just wondered what good genetics people use as a yield builder.
And when breeding what determines which plant you use as your male or female?

Strains in mind are things like big bud or ultimate or suggestions welcome, to cross with some of my favourite strains.

I wouldn't use Big Bud, too weak and flavorless. Many use Critical Mass as a better substitute. I would find a good female of each and induce male flowers on one of them and breed it with the other female to get feminized seeds. That way, you can see the bud structure on both parents, unlike when you use a male. The male flowers are induced with colloidal silver. Never actually did it myself but it's easy to search out the details.

The articles about CS and aspirin are what actually made me decide it's probably easier to produce my own seeds than buying them. Doesn't seem too hard and im sure that I'll learn as I go ALOT just as I did with growing in general.
Thanks for the heads up about big bud. I only say that as I saw a forum post about it being a big yielder.
I think Dutch passion had an amazing yielding auto too. Auto mazar I think?
Im planning to make some auto seeds just because those are the plants you would go through more seeds of, and the genetics of autos seem to be on the up and up right now!

Yeah auto Mazar is a big yielder in the autos. Good luck with your seed breeding project. Oh, another good yielder that's fast is White Berry from paradise seeds, though it's not often cited as a big yielder. I saw an experiment where they got almost 2 grams per watt using only 270 watts per square meter. It's also fast, the site says 7 weeks. Never actually grew it myself though.

Im going to look into that! Another is Dutch passion auto ultimate.
Im looking to cross with dark devil as I love this strain, so making it bigger and faster (or at least preserving the speed and size in two matching genes) would be great.
