that sounds kool..i crossed a auto ak47 male with a indica dom bagseed female..im not looking to make it auto flower just want to shorten the flowering time and make the plant smaller..so far from the F1s of the cross i found a really short female and a male that looks just like the mom for the next cross...meangreen
That's an excellent cross. Isn't bagseed fun? I'd expect the plant to get around 1.5 meters, depending upon the indica you crossed. You stated your intention is to not make an autoflower, but I honestly recommend you take the seeds from that F1 and cross it back to autoflower again. Since you already got F1 semi-auto, I encourage you to take it to full auto on F2 and make your own strain when u get to F3.

Do you all growing auto's understand what yer doing to the gene pool?
Do you understand that auto's are a greater threat to growers than leo?
Do you understand that there's nothing auto's can do that cut's won't do..............cept autoflower?
20 years from now finding a non auto's gonna be a challenge.
People don't always know/tell the truth regards them seeds yer buddy just sent.

Paranoid skizophrenia, anyone? You sound like the Rush Limbaugh or Alex Jones of cannabis..."rant rant rant the worlds going to end blah blah blah*

On top of being over-panicked, your assumptions are simply ridiculous.

I remember when indica started becoming popular, and everyone thought that their favorite sativa would suddenly disappear forever. Those people were wrong.

I also remember when purple started becoming the new thing, and people assumed that qualities like taste and potency would be sacrificed. Those people were wrong.

I remember when feminizing seeds and cloning plants became very popular. People assumed it would be the destruction of the seed. Those people were wrong.

And you sir, along with all the other people whining about auto's, will also be wrong. There will be some people that prefer going auto's, and there were be some people that prefer growing regulars. Nothing dramatic is going to happen, and shit certainly isnt going to hit the apocalyptic fan of a 5,000 year old industry.

I, myself, am a great example of this. I am currently growing 7 sativas, 3 sativa/indicas, and 5 autoflowers. My autoflowers are mostly a "hobby", and my sativas and indicas are for my personal smoke, bag appeal, etc. I know very few auto growers that ONLY grow auto's...90% of the people I know growing auto's have twice as many regular plants growing as the MAIN project, and have no intention or desire to dedicate fully to growing strictly auto's.
