Critique my plans? Bit long..

Gone Camping

Hello all..

New to all this.. been reading and researching what i can as i can. Friend dropped off a few clones and said have at it.. i wasnt quite ready so i'v been playin catch-up.

Had a fridge go over the winter so i tossed it into garage while we had all the snow this winter. Did some searching on grow cabinets.. so now i'v got a fridge grow going, dimensions of 26"wx22"dx40"h (lower space). Plan was to use top for seedlings/clones and veg below, and build a larger flowering cabinet.

My bud stopped in this am after Easter vacation and had an issue with his grow, lost all his clones. So we took 4 from mine.. two lower branches off my two clones. He took them home to root and make sure we preserve the strain here.

Clones are Sensi Star and currently sit at 9.5" and 8" tall in 2.5qt pots. I had plans to clone these and put the mature plants outside. Veg the clones a bit longer.. then maybe flower come this fall in the fridge. Now i think i'll do a quick grow to harvest before the heat of summer sets in here.. mid east coast.

Setup is a 2' 4 bulb T5 6500K, i'll go grab some flowering spectrum T5's, setup a Scrog net (glad i stumbled upon this method) and see how things progress. Ventilation is a CoolTron 120mm pc fan 115v 110CFM (decible level not an issue in my detached garage), 6" fan on canopy. Passive intake sized 4.5"hx12"w with panyhose keeping out the insects/dust.

I plan to repot into 1.4 gallon pots soon and switch the lights to 12/12.

I think i gave you guys/gals the info you might need to help me along, let me know if you need more. I could always take a pic or two.

My questions..

Pot size- will the 1.4 gallon's be sufficient? I do have a few 3 gallon i could substitute.. but that'll cut into height restrictions by about 2 more inches.

I'v read most look to set their scrog nets just high enough to get their hand beneath for trimming etc. Usually in the 8" range. I'm looking to install my net at 12" above pot rim, this will allow me to net a shelf frame from the fridge and slide it in over the plants.. making the net secure at it's height.

Then once i reconfigure the T5 to be adjustable heightwise (been lowering pots thusfar) and have it maxed at it's highest setting i should have ~15" of room to allow the buds to protrude up from net. Does this sound sufficient?

I'v read anywhere from 40 to 80% net coverage before switching to 12/12.. should i figure 60%?

If anyone is familiar with a Grow Log similar to mine i'd appreciate a link! Thanks and Happy Growin'..
