Comments:

The Critical Yumbolt pheno I grew turned out decent.

It has a low odor while flowering that I would describe as fruity. After curing it's much the same, with a bit of a dank lavender taste. You don't really smell it much until you break up the bud or burn it, but it has a fairly bold flavor compared to what it smells like growing. The smoke is decent, not my favorite taste, but it is a bold flavor. Reminds me a bit of godbud. The potency is pretty good, moderate sedative effects.

It grows at a good rate in both veg and flower and becomes quite branchy. There is some stretch in flower. Calyx to leaf ratio is not good, the bud structure is a pain to trim. It ripens up somewhat evenly, make sure to take off all the bottom growth that doesn't get much light if you grow it. It was quite sticky, I ended up having to clean my scissors a lot. It vegged for 11 weeks. The yield was 3 ounces occupying 2 feet of space, which is pretty good.

It finished at 7 and a half weeks, like they said it would.

I didn't really like trimming this plant. It gets the extra .5 on the looks score for having some violet colors.

I wouldn't grow this again myself but if it looks good to you give it a go.

I have a couple freebees that I was considering, perhaps they will end up in my outdoor pile. if the bud is 'okay' or middle of the line I like to grow outdoors and hash it.

thanks for the report it certainly helped me make a decision.

I have a Marmalate I haven't germed yet. What was the flavor like on your marmalate?

I'm vegging a Sugar Black Rose currently, it's going in to flower in around a month.
