hey guys, first grow going critical kush i grow in basic organic soil, vegged under 400w hps for about 50+ days now flowering under 1.2k, i didnt use any nutes in the veg phase but i think the soil had enough nutes in it already as they grew just fine and didnt show any deficiencys, now when i switched to flower i started using biobizz nutes and they seem to like it atm day 19 of flower from 12/12 flip going, i dont have any co2 system im thinking of maybe getting one or is it necessary? i will put some pics here too, oh yeah and do u think i should trim the leaves? as of now there isnt really any unhealthy leaves, only cutted a few leaves away from the bottom since they were yellow & crispy... any advice would be much appreciated!

Nice grow...No you do not need co2 as long as you have good air exchange...Should you trim, well that's up to you if you feel like there isn't enough light penetration then maybe so.

Well if your going to lollipop which I would suggest I would do it ASAP because you want to do it in the first 3 weeks of flowering...Thanks, here's the Critical Kush I'm currently growing, 56 days flowering and it looks like they need another 3 weeks or so...Critical Kush is great but these long flowering times are killing me.IMG_20160422_224043.jpg IMG_20160422_223929.jpg

Great stuff guys, gets me excited to see what mine will do :) I'm about 5 weeks into veg on a Barney's Critical Kush and a Dinafem Critical+ 2.0, and also have a 8 week veg Barney's Cookies Kush going ;)

I've run the Cookies before and have an idea what the 2.0 will do, but I'm wondering how much stretch to prepare for on the Crit Kush?

nice man :) i noticed 2 different types, one is short other is long, 1 of both types got topped on my failed fim attempt and the both now have 4 main branches, but other is short and other is long :D the difference in their height is like Atleast 50 - 60cm the long one is like a meter+ and the short one like maybe 45 - 60 atm, i took some pictues but my camera is pretty horrible so bare with me, the one next to the fan is the short one, and the one in the corner is the long one

Cool, I think I have the short pheno, mine is very bushy and I keep having to work it to keep a good canopy. Here's a crappy snap of mine @ Day32 of Veg:

And from a side view you can see how I like to train, with 4 mains in a + then all topped a few times

And since I have the camera out, here's a shot of the Cookies Kush in the corner (she's in a 7gal pot):

Nice real nice...I know you asked what the stretch is like and from my experience they usually double in size if not more.

Thanks :) The Cookies I ran before almost tripled at flip so I may have to throw this one on the back porch lol, but timing wouldn't allow me to flip it until now.

I'm still looking for easy myself ;) but I picked up the Dinafem Critical+ 2.0 because it's claimed to be fast flowering (7-8wks), pest and mold resistant, high yield, easy to train/clone, etc... I'm hoping for top shelf med quality personally, not expecting elite genetics or anything. The Barney's Cookies Kush fit that category for me, they were pretty easy and though I got about 5 seeds (maybe a light leak?) over 3 plants my only real bitch was that they were sold as 8wk Indica and came out 12wk Sativa lol. I was consistently getting 25-28% rosin yields off the flower, so I decided to pop another on a whim and it kinda jammed my rotation haha... Here's an old snap of a 3wk veg Cookies

Thanks man :) Cool, I think the other 2 will go about 2-3x as well. I was hoping to chuck a 4'x4' trellis net over all 3 and scrog the hell out of them ;) The pic above was nice smoke for no skill/gear, but the yields have kept me running out before the next run is done and I'm sick of it lol. I picked a set of high yielders with staggered harvest times and now it's time to hope I don't get in the way.

I'm going on week 9. She wasn't getting the proper light she needed in a crowded closet until about a week ago when she got her own 250w Horti HPS and 2x2 tent. She also had big spider mite webs forming yesterday - I sprayed her down with insecticidal soap. She is fatting up nicely and smells like fruity pebbles according to my roommate.IMG_1053.jpg IMG_1057.jpg

wassup everyone I'm new to the site. I currently have 2 critical kush flowering about five weeks under a 600 watt hps. My buds look leafy and airy is this normal at 5 weeks with critcal kush they seem to be way behind compare to my bubba's gift that are also 60 day harvest but have supper dense and solid nugs

Yes. They can be airy at 5 weeks. But should fill in. Depending what pheno you have. In the end the result should be fat dense colas.
I have been growing CK for 8 months now. It's a great strain. Post pictures please.
