Everything seems okay. Shes taking on water fine. Really wish i did a better under screen trim. shes pushing alot of power to these lower pewny junk growth. itll be good for edibles tho i guess. top nugs are nice and fairly fat.

Sherm - I like to veg with CFLs so i can keep em close and not use my tent. then as they get to around 10"s pending how many days its been, i may move to mh, or just use CFLs until flowering, then i got HPS for some good weight since my elec at my house is only .10c/kw which is dirt cheap compared to some other neighborhoods around here. So its only 20$ to run my setup all month which is nice.

I flipped 12/12 on March 10th. so by counting the weeks im on week 11 already? clipped another leaf to check trics. finally starting to see a few ambers starting up. still some clears all over but will be monitoring closely now. Hoping to be ending late next week. Shes on water only now. Do you advise i remove the calmag as well?

resin build is deff visual. getting even frostier right now! Temps dropped to 50s outside past few days, cause the midwest is fuckd up, so shes purpled up a bit the past few nights which is okay. Smelling great tho compared to last grow, all my plants just smelled earthy.

Will post pics on friday on my day off. Contemplating cutting the screen out so i can remove the plant to inspect better but i think some branches may sag over due to weight.

Much love!
Hey Crawlintbss,

I still love my CFL'S. They really do only cost pennies a day to run. Maybe at some point I should probably invest in some sort of HID system, however my yields have been so awesome, I really have no reason to upgrade, after all it's just a hobby for personal use. But we shall see what the future holds, never say never! Good to hear everything is working out for you. Here's a few pictures of my Nordic Jack @ the end of week eight. Tric's are still crystal clear. A week or two to go I would imagine.

I have had good luck with cfl's also. Went from .3gpw to .5gpw, no reason for hps unless you want to get practical and save money. Otherwise cfl will get the job done!

Will do! Im hoping for 2oz dried. Last grow with 4 plants i got 1oz per plant which wasnt too bad but was too premature and little to no smoke.

Just did a trich check before the lights came on. all milky and starting to get more ambers. Shes staying in the dark for the rest of the time. Going to start chopping tonite/tomorrow morning. Hopefully complete it all tomorrow.

Will report back!

chopped her 2 nites ago. everything is drying well. did a quick trim on this one so i left some sugar leaves that ill trim once drier. didnt wanna spend 8+hrs doing it all so i just did a quick one. theyve deff lost alot of size/weight in 2days drying. temps around 70-80s and humidity between 55-65% which should be better this round. last time was during winter so it dried out in 3 days with the low temps and humidity. Im shooting for a longer dry/cure this time as she is smelling great, unlike last round that smelled just earthy and nasty.

will post pics soon.
