I took food and water to the CP1 in the BP patch. I took most of the cola buds from the lower limbs off this one too. It's getting so close to hunting season, that I am starting to worry about being found.

Most of the cola buds are starting to fox tail. Have any of you had this on outdoor plants before?

The BP in SOL patch. Once again I took quite a few lower limb buds. {for insurance purposes} I smoked a little of the broken bud from this plant before I went into the woods. I might change the name to "Terrible Mistake." Too high to be sneaky.

It felt strange to walk on by the GV patch today. But it is fallow until next June or so.

The 88 Hermie in the Slo patch. Some of the seeds are ready, but I decided to give it at least another week.

The other 88 in the Slo patch. Sorry for the crappy picture. I guess I was too high to use a point and shoot camera too. This is the best of about 7 pictures.

Went to the ALe and ALw patches this morning with food and water. With all the plants dying in flower, I decided to cut a few of the tippy top buds off the colas, as well as more lowers on the CPDA {ALe#1} I guess I'll do this each week until it's gone. Forgot the camera when I was in the woods, but I did snap this after I got back to the house.

Did the same with CP1 {ALw #1} I got at least 4 seeds. They are BST2 {FP#1 [Big & Stinky]} male X CP1 female.

DSCF2226.JPG

Not happy with how the CP1 {ALw#2} has been looking of late. She wasn't part of my breeding program anyway, so I chopped her. She was pretty close.

Yesterday I went to the SOL and Slo patches. I found this little worm on the BP. Did a good search and didn't find anymore.

DSCF2241.JPG

I went on to the Slo patch with the rest of the food and water. A few seeds were falling from the Herman 88, so I chopped it.

DSCF2243.JPG

When I got to the other 88, I found a couple of rotten buds, and the worms to go with them. {rotten bud picture didn't turn out} I ended up chopping her. Maybe a week or so early by my estimate.

Since I chopped the two plants in the Slo patch, I had food and water left over. I went back to the SOL patch to put it one the BP. Looked her over one more time, and found this bastard.

I really looked good this time, and didn't find anymore. I did find a couple more leaves that were ate though. I took most of these colas. I'll check on it Monday, and may take the rest then.

With all the chopping going on, I had better go over what I have left. 1 BP in the SOL patch, 1 CP1 in the BP patch, 1 CPDA in ALe, 1 CP1 in ALw and 1 GV2 in the GB patch.

Nothing left in GV, Slo, HR, PH, GN, FP, JP, 3DT and DDW patches. This season is winding down. {1st patchy frost here this morning}

Since I chopped the 88 in the Slo patch, I guess it's time for me to look back and see what pollen I hit her with. Been trying to remember to do it for the last few days. Will have to add it to the labels. This weed growing is hard work.

That didn't take long. I dusted her with Herman 88 {Slo#2} pollen because they were so close I was afraid she would catch some anyway. Not optimal.

So it's Herman 88 {Slo#2} X 88 {Slo#1}

Or as the BIL would say it, "that shemale Jack Carlos Cross X that bitch Jack Carlos Cross. That is some fucked up shit."

Look like you ended up with some nice buds anyhow. Damn you make that weed growing hard on yourself with all those different labels :). Just call all that shit Larry's bud and be done with it. It all serves the purpose huh, I look forward to seeing what you do next full season with those bought seeds, will have to get you some more once we get up and running

I did make some nice smoke. But had far more losses this year than last.

It is kind of like juggling. {RIU makes it much easier to keep everything straight} I haven't sat down and wrote out all the crosses I made this year. Though my two biggest seed producers were the BST2 {FP#1} X CP1 {ALw} and CP1 {BP#2} X Slo2 {BP}. I really hit both of those hard with pollen. As I smoke up the buds, I'll gather the different seeds together to decide what I'll run next. But after all my old strains were lost to me, seeds are like money in the bank. I want all the crosses I can get.

There is also a few of the 88 F1 seeds left, lots of last year's F2 seeds, and now all the F3 seeds I made this year.

I am looking forward to the bought seeds. I'm sure they will be stonier than my strain. It gets me high, but the cross was made in 1988. Breeding has come a long way since then. And I'm still looking for that Golden Bean.

After breakfast I did the same with the BP in the SOL patch. I think I clipped a few more top buds, but it's been a long day, so I couldn't swear to it.

In the afternoon I took water with a light feeding to the CP1 in the BP patch. I know I clipped a few top buds off this one. {I've got pictures} It could use a couple more weeks, but this is on my cousin's land, and he has already mowed lanes between the pines for hunting. The first day of gun season is Thanksgiving Day, so they will be putting out corn and what not before then. I'll keep taking the top buds off each week until it's gone.

It's been a crazy week for me. My Mamma had a small stroke last Monday, then a bigger one the next day. It looked really bad and we brought in Hospice. But she is a tough old bird, and is doing better. Not sure what to expect, but she should be coming home this week. I'm enjoying this time because when she gets home, my free time will be a thing of the past. She needs 24 hour care,and not much money to hire help.

I did steal a little time to check on plants. Friday I took food and water to the BP in the SOL patch. I again took the top couple of buds on each branch. Close to ripe.
