Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

I've been taking the top buds off the BST2 in the GN patch each trip the last couple of three weeks. Not too many left, so I took the rest this morning. No more having to pick up trash beside the road looking for that break in traffic. Best guess is just over an ounce today. About two ounces already dried. {It is pretty stony, with a peppery taste} This was the plant that was LOB'ed.

Some of the lower limbs had died on the Hermie 88 {F1} in the GV patch. I cut the bud off the other low limbs. A few seeds were ready. Small, but looked like they would come up. Will find out soon.

The young 88 in the Slo patch was broke over at the top of the tomato cage it was in. There is one clump of bud on each of the three main branches. Not enough to count. Some of the seeds were ready, These seeds are Young 88 Hermie pollen dusted on the Young 88 female.

A couple of weeks ago I picked the runt BST2 in the GN patch. Didn't try to breed with it, but the time before last when I was camping and smoked a joint of it, I found a seed. That means I have to come up with a name now. This is the only picture of it I could find. It is off the "post your cactus pictures" thread in the gardening section. Prickly Pear is as good a name as any.

It was really stony, and had more of the spicy, peppery taste than they other BST2. I can't remember if it is the same age or not. I replaced some of these plants 2 and 3 times.

I took food and water to the AL patches this morning.

I had left a few buds on RSB to let them finish. I went ahead and took the rest of them this morning.

I did take off a few lower limbs on the Hurricane Head {FP}. How much longer do you guys think this needs?

Also had to take a few buds off Peaches. Starting to get a little purple color to the buds. I thought I had seen that in the bag I bought. Would have loved to have been able to take the whole plant to finish.

I have been taking a bud or two each time I check on them. The last couple of weeks you can really taste the difference. I had gone thinking I would take her down today, but I talked myself out of it. Maybe on Monday.

I got a late start today. It was a chilly morning in Larry Land. I took food and water to the Slo2 and CP1 in the BP patch. I found all the leaves on the Slo2 had/were turning brown. I went ahead and chopped her. Roots and stems were fine. Not sure what was the trouble. But she was one of the oldest plants. Either popped in late February or early March. Old and in the Way.

The CP1 is still looking good. She got double food and water.

My woods camera was at work. I couldn't find my el Cheapo camera. I didn't want to use my car camera.

I did go ahead and use my car camera when I went to the FP patch. I took most of the Hurricane Head. It does feel good to have it in the barn.

Ended up taking more Peach bud than I had planned on. I found a few bad spots that had to be removed, and took all the lowers. Some of the lower buds were looking pretty good.



And if you were wondering how Peach got named. . . . .

Had to clip off a bud from the BP in the SOL patch. Otherwise looking good.

The older 88 in the Slo patch. I had to pick up the lower limbs and didn't have my paracord with me. So I used a grapevine. Worked pretty good.
