Covering the scent of weed from drug dogs?

is it possible to cover the scent of weed in a bag from drug dogs? I know someone who swears by "Blue magic condition hair dress" to throw off the dog's scent. I've also heard that if you vacuum seal it twice a dog would not be able to smell it if the weed was in the vacuum seal for less than a couple days, but any longer then the smell of bud permeates through the plastic. is this true? any suggestions?

that question should be changed to a statement and end with .. Is impossible. Lol ... Myth busters tried it all and furthermore there's a human with a nose so good he can smell a dab of heroin in a book hidden within a stack of books.. Imagine what a dog is capable of

Drug dogs are specially trained to find drugs. Like kermit2692 said it's impossible. Sometimes you might get lucky. The most you can do is probably throw them off the scent of the drugs. Not for long doe..

There are stories of drug dogs sniffing cars and not finding a bag of weed in a baggie. I think some dogs get A's in class and some are slackers getting D's but they all still get jobs.

I read a story once where a guy double vacuum sealed some weed and washed it in dish soap. He got stopped and searched and the dog didn't find that weed either. I say do the best you can to disguise it and hope for the best. Drive legal speeds and make sure all lights work.

had a friend that would take the greyhound bus to deliver his buds, he would spill sprinklings of ground up pot all over the bus, so the dog would smell it everywhere...and they can't search everyone
Yes they can!

When you fly overseas to a known "drug hot spot" like Jamaica or The Netherlands. When you arrive home and disembark from the plane. Did you ever notice the doorway on the gangway you walk up to immigration from the plane? As the last person turns into immigration and the door closes behind them. That doorway opens and Customs, with a drug sniffing dog, comes out and enters the plane.

They have the dog sniff at every seat. If the dog "keys" on one they check the seat off on a seating chart the airline supplies them with. That seating chart has the names of the passengers sitting in what seat on it. That name is then marked for "personal" contact.

While everyone on the plane is going through immigration.....Your luggage is being put on a conveyor that runs it to customs. On it's way to customs, it goes through an X-ray machine and if there are "items of interest" seen on that. Those people too are marked for personal contact (items like watch's, jewelry and anything you maybe trying to not pay duty on).

Now that you have made the Customs check point. If the dog keyed on your seat (or any ones seat) you (or they) are asked to a line with a conveyor with a high res X-ray loop on it, going by the Customs officer. He see's very clearly what is in your baggage! He will open your baggage and do a hand search of the contents, knowing already the area of interest IN the bag! They WILL find what their looking for if it's there!

How do I know? From personal experience! (No I didn't try to bring anything back) You see, the dog can smell the drugs you handled, even 48hrs AFTER you handled them! Nope - a shower is no way going to stop it....Did you wash the clothes you had on when you handled the drugs? Clothes you had on when you handled drugs will hold the scent far longer then your body! You see, I asked why I was pulled and my belongings searched.....The Customs agent, he told me the whole deal I just told you!

I travel enough that while the same customs agent was working the same airport I travel though.....He got used to me. It was common for him to have looked at the X-ray's and know I had nothing. He would be cordial, "Hi ****, how are you today? Another visit to friends? Nothing to declare? (minimal glance in bags) Nice to see you again" I answer "Yeah. It was nice there....Had a wonderful time...Yeah, you too *****." He would say "Well I know your not holding, so you can go. See you again soon?" I would answer "Thanks *****....Yeah about 3 months from now, the family and I are going back.....Have a good day *****. See you then!"

I have over the years seen several busts.....Kilo's of coke in hidden compartments - several times!
But the one that got me the most was this guy who flew to Jamaica and back on the same plane as me....He was up and partying on the way down. All happy and rather excited. On the way back, before we boarded. I saw him in the Jamaican airport and went over with a drink. He took it, gulped it down and that caught my attention.....I said ready for being dog sniffed at home? He looked at me with startled angst...He picked up his carry on and 2 big bags of Allspice nuts (the nuts are about the size of baseballs) and moved off with a week "yeah, sure".....

He had to go through customs in front of me......The X-ray picked up his stash.....He had filled all the "nuts" with Lambsbreath...My customs "friend" said it was about 2-3 pounds worth....He was going to be charged with smuggling, possession with intent to dist. a controlled sub and simple possession of a controlled substance (he had a 1/4 zip of hash in his pocket). This was in the Reagen years - he prob. is still serving his time!

Don't try it!
