I've been growing in a peat/coco/perlite mix with really good results in quality and decent in yeild. I'm looking to up my yeild as much as possible on the strains i have, while retaining the quality i've come to enjoy. I've been thinking that coco, if i can retain some of the same fertilizers, will do the trick.
heres the mix i've been thinkin of, its for 5 5 gallon buckets of soil:
2.25 5gal buckets of coco, 2 5gals of wc and 3/4 a bucket of growstones(perlite sub) with 1/3 cup alfalfa(2-0-1), 1/3 cottonseed meal(5-2-1), 1/3 cup kelp meal(1-0-2), 1/6 cup crab shell meal(2-3-0), 1/3 cup insect frass(2-2-2), 1/3 cup azomite, 1/4 cup epsom salt
thats basicly the veg mix thats been best for me in my previous soil. When they go into flower i usually use Biocanna flores-boost-rhizo, GO biobud, NFTG pegasus potion(1-2-0),NFTG bone meal(0-10-0) and wc(was thinkin about using humus) teas with rock phos, and any of the the ingredients that i used in the soil mix. Ro water and GO cal mag
Does anyone see any problems that the ferts might have with coco? i know that coco gives of k so may be less kelp? or use the flores sparingly? any and all thoughts might help!
