Converting my speaker box into a grow box

Alright ladies and gents, i'm planning on doing a smalll small small speaker box grow. the speaker box itself is about 2 feet tall. the light doesn't change the height to much at all and i'm going with more of a bonsai type dish to use as the pot, thus leaving me with the most amount of height available. I've so far begun by putting in 1 60W CFL at 5000k for veg, and will be putting 1w red and blue led's on the sides to help with canopy light distribution. if i can fit them that is.... this thing is to f'ing tiny lol. and of course i will be using an autoflowering plant. the strain in mind is De Sjamaan's Dwarf Ryder. Please, Feel free to throw your opinion on here! IMG_0002.jpgIMG_0003.jpgIMG_0004.jpg

What is your total box dimensions (l x w x h)?
Total box dimensions are 14x9x24 the width might be an issue but i figured i'd be able to tie some limbs down and move some fan leaves around... i can also LST to make it shorter and get some more lighting on it.

You may run into head space. What size pot will you use and how are you planning on installing your cfl light because if you hang it that will decrease your head room for your auto?

well what i did was i bought one of those bendy desk lights that can bend into any which shape, kinda took it apart and put it back together to be usable in the box so now i can just bend the bulb as close as i want to the plant. and as far as the pot goes i'm going to take a glad tubermaid used for storing food and such, paint the outside black so the roots don't rot, and use that, as it seems to fit pefectly lengthwise and widthwise into the bottom of the speaker box. and it lets me take advantage of the most space as possible where i can use more soil.

for the intake and exhaust i'm still stuck on what i should do. i want to have the speakers be in their original spots and be fully functional so nobody notices anything. it doesn't seem to get to hot in the box with the light on... i might just not use venting and use LED bulbs so there isn't much heat, and if i did need some venting i could port the box and it would still seem like a regular speaker box

also do a pattern of holes in your soil container similar to this brilliant guy, hobbes https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/360125-weed-science-ebook-download.html , trying to replicate the holes in your air floor. you will want some air to come around the soil and bypass it but i think u could do a great job with this! mount that bendy lamp sorta mid way so you can bend it all the way to the top. the fan i would use is maybe 2 4" square computer fans hooked up to dryer vent

Hiya!
I am also considering building a speaker cab using a 70w HPS, and am aware that the space issues will be hard to overcome...
Having said that, there is evidence that it can be done, and done extremely well.
If you have not already come across it, do a google search for "romantica turbo" and click on the first hit... (international cannagraphic)
I think you will be impressed!!!
