compact dehumidifier ? any good

hi all

im looking for a small dehumidifier for my room ,something cheap ,but does the job if anyone can recommend any decent ones ?

my room is small ,6x4 ,with only 4 plants .

was looking at this on eBay ,would this do the job ?

You'll want something with a drain facility that can remove up to about 20L per day.

I use a 20L extraction per day Dehimidifier in my 3x7x8 room with 4 plants.

It has a 2L water tank that fills up really quickly.

I use a drain hose on mine connected to a 10L water container.

I also like using my Dehimidifier to help heat my room. As it only costs 221w of power for every hour its on and a bi product of dehumidification is heat.


I would never recommend a dehumidifier with a 500ml capacity tank that doesn't have continuous drain function.

You also want to make sure you get one with a humidistat.

Mine is a PROLINE I got it from COMET before they went belly up for £95.
