Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

No no and no on Colorado. Hoping to make my mil or 2 before the federal government knocks down state barriers to trading marijuana. What you have is basically a federally mandated monopoly. IE, if Colorado could sell their weed to Nevada, good bye Nevada growers. One reason I didn't look at Colorado is specifically because of the saturation. I have buddies waiting until Texas legalizes their market and I'm just thinking, man, better hope it doesn't happen too late.

You've got production companies, I.e. The people making marijuana-infused products, setting up operations expanding out of Colorado already. Scary competition.

I had something else to say but forgot
"Make my mil or two" Bahahahah. Water some plants and cut down money you'll be there in no time! if you think someone's going to pay you a million dollars to learn how to grow with there investment money you are living more of a fantasy than I thought

What's left is furniture, which is a joke to figure out. HVAC costs, general contracting, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. This is proving more difficult because number 1, these people like to make estimates after seeing the actual project in question, number 2 because I don't have the phone or partners at this point that can make the calls in America, and 3 because industry breakdowns aren't readily available (the numbers I have reference startup facility costs, but don't break it down further).
How can a contractor give you an estimate if he doesn't know what the project is? Did you just call him up like, "Hey buddy got a contract for you. I can't really tell you what it is or what it entails, basically no details on what you'll actual be doing, but can you tell me who much everything is going to cost without any information at all?". Was it something like that? Did he laugh in your face? That's pretty much the same thing that has been going on this whole thread....

I'd consider possibly snagging a couple of engineer and horticulture students as interns from some local universities low cost labor and systems layout You could pay them low and they probably would get some credit towards their courses and then you don't have to worry about paying a bunch of union guys. Nevada is heavy union, idk? As far as contractors, just look for who is building in the area and brush up on your spanish to try and work some deals with our amigos. But i'm just daydreaming on stuff. I don't know my head from a hole half the time.

Dont get your hopes up. Threads like this are a dime a dozen and the OPs never triumphantly return with pics after getting laughed off the stage.

Pipe dream . Anyone capable of growing a 150 light setup doesn't need to ask people to help him price it out. People think growing weed is watering plants and cutting down money.. It's a joke.
Lol Nevada is already setup and the dispensAries are barely paying above Cali prices. I read something about 100k above... If you're talking through first run expenses.. 100k will only get you a badass 30 light setup at best + veg and dry room. 150 lights done right... Requires one hell of an electrical panel upgrade and 400k I would say.
Shit if you could get a 30 light setup plus veg and dry room built for $100k that's a steal bro. Even with cheap contractors. A 192 light setup will run you closer to $1,000,000. ;)

To the OP. You are way in over your head. Don't bite off more than you can chew.

I read you're beginning but the rest I don't know what you're talking about really. Sounds like you're alluding to some mafioso stuff that I'm not going to be mixed up in lol.

We're going to run doubled ended HPS, but my limited grow experience makes me wonder why you would suggest downgrading on the 1000w MHs. Energy is a huge cost, yes, and we want to be eficient, yes, but I'm just wondering if that wouldn't hurt yield just the same.

Hell if I know! That's why need the grow master on the team stat! Wish you guys had some legal grow experience that could go on a resume! Would bring one of you on!

(Probably not really though, would have to do a background check, etc etc )

Depends double ended 1000w hps is a good way to yield up, 2000w units or bigger are also good, but 600w double end hps lamps can get closer to the plant, you can use more of them, so for using the same power or more you can yield more with 600`s or even leds

but it could be a lot more work to set up your grow because you`ll need more lamps

Fukin pipe dream rookies that grow a few shitty plants and there off to the races. Thinks this thing of ours is easy money. I been doing this for decades and i get by. Its a lifestyle really. You carpet baggers are a fukin joke.
