Commercial garden nutrients

So this is going out to large scale hydro gardeners, say 50 lamps or more.

What nutrients are you using and why.
Price? Availability? Results? Ease? OR Just maybe your used to it.

Currently we're running Gh flora as our base, with Grodan cubes as media. The cost is low and availability is everywhere. Over the last 10 years we have adapted around it. Adding in kelp, CalMag, Roots Excell, bloom boosters and a few others to get the results we want.

We have run most major brands at one time or another(GH, H&G, Canna, Advanced, Dyna) with success as well as lots of "free sample sets". Currently doing some trials with JR Peters and other "granular mixes". We've ran dirt, coco, DWC, cubes.....

In our personal gardens we prefer coco and with more organics, but the question is....

What do commercial gardeners like using?

If you speak to some of the smaller manufacturers direct and tel them you're a commercial grower, there are some that will offer you much better pricing then retail will especially if you are wiling to post photos on social media tagging the product

@mjinc Thanks for your reply. We've dealt with most major and allot of "smaller" companies over the years and have some currently promoting to us. Price wasn't my motivating factor here, but I was curious how other gardeners have developed over the years with changing nutrients lines and Increasing sizes of gardens.

Have your nutrient regiments gotten more complex or simpler. I.E. using more ingredients/specialty products or simplified with dry "salt" mixes?

Have gardeners grown deeper into "cannabis" specific regiments or simple horticulture nursery style?

I think a lot of commercial growers are looking to take the hassle out of feeding so they can spend more time caring for their plants. I've seen a plethora of bigger growers installing Dosatron systems and a lot have moved over to veg bloom who sell a Dosatron 2 part solution. They then just add the shine, PH adjustment and possibly cal mag and some sort of sweetener. I've seen other guys use the Dosatron system and then just add their normal three part nutrient solution and ph down. Looks a great system as it then connects straight into whatever automatic feeding system they've designed.

I've been looking into building a dosatron system with our next garden, that was an instigating factor for this question...build a system with the 6+ ingredients we use or look for something simpler. We need to free up some time without sacrificing control/quality.

@JohnnyLawrence thanks for you input, would that be no to sweeteners or just not with dosatrons?

What type of "sweetener" are you referring to carbs, flavorings, or other?

For me carb/sugars have no place in my hydro gro without organics and beneficials, the "flower flavoring" products I have no use for either. Give your plants the proper building blocks(balanced nutes) and they will make every bit of flavor/smell you need!
