Colorado Springs tap water for soil grows?

I've never had an issue with water. I moved to Colo Springs from Black Hawk and in Black Hawk the water was amazing. Before that I was in Florida and the water was good there too.

Now I'm in Colorado Springs and I think the water is fucked. When I shower, my skin gets dry as hell and sort of itchy. I just started a grow and I'm noticing all types of issues. I just ordered a ph meter like 5 minutes ago from eBay.

Just wondering if my suspicions are right and the water is way off around here? I'm sure there is some Colo Springs people around who grow in soil, do you have to do something to your water before watering the plants?

In Pueblo the ph is around 7.1-7.2 so a little high. I generally fill it in a reservior then add a little ph down. The ppms are good tho, around 150-200, I have to add calmag to it about 1/2 strength. I still water with tap/a carbon filter sometimes. I am not sure if we are on the same/similar water or not.

Best of luck!

I am aware that you don't like beanz because of a racist comment he made, which I understand, and maybe other reasons I am unaware of, but why the childish behavior?

I read in one of your post where you said you have been growing for over 40 years.
This must make you at least 55-60, no?

Heres your issue I belive. Your water is probably hard. So you should try a water softener for ur skin and cooler water

But more importantly Soil is a great buffer so many people and beginners are struggling with ph. Its because u dont need to adjust. Ph adjustment is mostly for hydro grows. If u arent over 8.5 or under 3 ur good.

I agree with this post... my water is hard in the high country... i filter everything... however if I had to guess I would say the water in blackhawk was probably hard too? surprised you werent checking Ph to begin with....

Ph meter will only tell you a little bit of what you need to know. You need to find out what is in the water that is causing the itching and fucked up growing. It is called a water quality test and a googlenet search will set you free.

Look at the posts he makes, he has the mental capacity of a 7 year old.

All of this started because I was made a joke about the "protesters" in Ferguson. He got super salty because I wasn't showing enough white-guilt to please him. So ever since then he has been following me around the forum running his fucking mouth like the little cry baby bitch that he is.

Look at his avatar for gods sake. He has some mild mental issues. And I use the term "mild" loosely.

Yet here you are in all my threads like an angry ex-girlfriend running your dick sucker.

Like I said, I've never had any issues with water before and I don't know how to deal with it. All of us haven't been growing weed since the civil war like your old ass.

lol.

I'm so glad I don't live in a 'diverse' area. Bunch of savage beasts.
If you're white and you don't look for white areas to reside, you're doing it wrong.
Well, I guess that's a real loss for me. Whatever will I do without a new self-hating white friend?

I was hoping we could get together and go down to one of the Ferguson protests. You know, lay in the road and throw rocks with the rest of the animals and limpwrists. Please reconsider.
when did you decide that white supremacy was for you, beanzz?

Around the same time you decided self-hatred was right for you. Please get the fuck out of my thread, seriously.
i don't hate my self, i do stand opposed to ignorant jackasses who think that melanin has magical effects.
