Hey everyone ..
I'd created this thread, which could be debated on the recommendation of the appropriate color temperature, CRI across different manufacturers cobs (Cree, BRX, Citizen) and their real application about the actual experience of the completed harvest ..
To be more clear .. what provides the best results in practice .. not only in the form of recommendations as Bridgelux VERO 80 CRi 4000K and 3500K Cree CXB 80 CRi like.
After all, for the last year of application COB enough things moved forward a lot of people here already has their own experience
.. THX
e.g.
best result and experience with my setup Cree, BRX, Citi
veg : ????k temp to ??CRi
Bloom: ????k temp to ??CRi
all : ????k temp to ??CRi

id say the jury is still out and in practice people dont seem to be seeing a huge difference between 3000K and 4000K

seems like people are jsut getting into 80 vs 90 cri

so we gather data, hopefully learn something....

Just getting this information out there...

1. If you want a LED array to be as bright as possible for human eyes... go for lower CRI numbers that have a higher luminous flux output.

2. If you don't care about the brightness for human eyes go for the higher CRI numbers that have a lower luminous flux output.

Of course we want more light output .. why stealing performance as the result of the harvest that wasn't seen almost no difference between them .. Also i do not think that lower CRi 70 would be better .. provides an unnecessarily higher output in green and less in red .. someone specifying that 4000K to be an abyss dead spots compared with 3000,3500k Cree .. General probably true that more of the blue spectrum to provide more pistils .. and spectrum closer to the red spectrum provides a more resin, trichomes.. lovin terms here :-) frozen nugs, buds .. I wonder 4000K 90CRi result of a combination of Citizen .. but again, these are just speculations .. So I would like for more substantiated own experiences on this topic
