Happy Sunday dudes!!

So I'm giving it a try at making some fem seeds. Got a buddy to make me a batch of cs at 30ppm. Started spraying 2 days ago. Noticed yesterday that I have spider mites. Just finished spraying the girls this morning with the neem mixture. (2 tsp organic neem, 1/3 tsp dish soap, 1 liter warm water)

Gonna check the girls for mites and hopefully wont have to spray again for a while. Hoping until after the cs spray is done.

I know I have already done it, but my question is can both be used?

Good question indeed!!

It certainly does. Just have to be more diligent about cleanliness around the girls. That helps with the sm.

And nope, not mixing them together!!

neem oil is vicious on the plants. If possible kick the plants up to 24/0 and get the tent hot. If the tent cools down at night the mites will reproduce like bunny rabbits.

This is not what you want to do. You would need to get the tent SUPER hot for this to work. Upwards of 115° and would end up killing the plants. They love hot dry climates more than cold but even in the cold they will just hibernate.

You'll want to continue to spray for at least another week otherwise the eggs will hatch and if you let them lay more the cycle will just continue. Spider mites are a real pain in the ass.

you may need something heavier than Neem oil

look to what ur local tomatoes growers use ..imo

as for the cs, avoid spraying the whole plant

but pick on your targeted flowers, and tag

cover the flowers at each bug spraying

then remove as one would cover the plant as you apply the CS

good luck

Agreed get something that will kill them on contact. Neem oil doesn't kill them only messes with their reproduction and appetite.

Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated.

Being an organic grower I am true to it and won't use anything that's not organic on the girls.

That being said, its my call to use other methods if all I am doing is getting some pollen, then pollinating another plant which I don't intend to smoke.

hmmmmmm, dilemma's like this are interesting.

If you don't plan on smoking any of the bud then just grab a vacuum and go to town. Spray with neem for another week then stop. Save the pollen and use this down time to completely sterilize your area to rid them then start your next round for the seeds.
