Coincidences, Synchronicity, Pure Luck?

What's up with that? I haven't smoked anything for 2 weeks after about a year of solid everyday smoking. When I'm smoking I don't remember my dreams aside from little bits here and there. After two nights without smoking I was having dozens of dreams every night, it was amazing! Now there seems to be little coincidences happening.

I used to experience alot of deja-vu and often laugh at these coincidences like the one I had the other day with a co-worker. We were on an 8 hour drive from a job location in his work truck, he doesn't have much for tunes if any at all so I bought a cheap 12 volt FM transmitter mp3 player that you plug a usb stick into. So I loaded 3 usb stick with mp3s that I downloaded a few days earlier. I didn't really know what to get so I went for a bunch of greatest hits torrents everything from black sabbath, fleetwood-mac, led-zep, ac/dc, thin lizzy, cream, hendrix, the doors, marshall tucker, skynard, the who, and a few others I grabbed as I browsed torrents by alphabetical listing.

The usb stick we were playing had about 200+ tunes on it and was set to random. He was driving and I was reading a rolling stone mag I picked up at a gas stop. On the right hand page was a small piece about brittany spears lip-syncing in australia and how the australian gov was talking about making it mandatory on concert tickets to state if a act uses backing tracks and such.

Just as a song was ending I used the quick silence to tell my co-worker what I just read. He made a quick comment agreeing that it would open alot of peoples eyes as to what goes into these big ticket productions when he gets cut off by the next song starting. At the very same moment I turn the page and there is a picture of Roger Daltry on a beach getting sprayed with suntan lotion from some dude(personnel aid?) with the headline reading Won't Get Burned Again! And In the next moment like seconds later Daltry screams "Yeah I get on my knees and pray". Won't get fooled again. I pointed it out to him as the music was too loud and we both just smiled and laughed.

EDIT: As I was typing this up I went to the bathroom and got logged out or timed out, when I logged back in I went to myrollitup and noticed my last thread was two months ago and was titled lip-syncing/auto tune. weird.

Interesting to say the least.

I dont really dream that much either, everyday smoker here. It makes me wanna stop for a few weeks to have some crazy dreams. I havn't experienced deja-vu in a while either.

Have you ever had a lucid dream? being able to control what happens in your dream basically?

I raced moto-x when I was in my teens, my walls were plastered with moto-x pics everything was moto-x. Most nights especially before a race I would visualize myself riding the track that I was about to race at. I would try all the different lines, rhythm sections in all their combinations(double/triple, or triple/double etc). It was never a race, there were no other bikes on the track, but I always felt like I won? or was pulling the fastest laps times at least. I knew my visualizations led straight into my dreams and when I woke felt good about the race to come.

I didn't win all the races but was consistent enough to win the points championship before the season was even done. I still raced the final races and broke my leg on the last jump on the last lap of the last race of the year!!

That's when I realized I do better under pressure!:joint:

Interesting.

Ive personally experienced many episodes of deja vu in the past and when things look like more than a coincidence. Theres some things that I experienced that just seem too connected to be a coincidence. Ive also caught messages and hidden messages from things. Im not sure if there is something trying to tell us something or what or maybe it was always there and we only realize it some times. Or maybe its just all coincidences and isnt connected at all, which is possible but I believe there is more to it so I doubt that.

I went through a period starting about 2 years ago and mostly ending around 10 months ago which I thought was a episode of psychosis. I was just very much in my mind and learned a lot of things that I never knew were possible. I learned about all the supernatural things, did a lot of meditation and deep thinking, and I believe somewhat opened my "3rd eye". Everything that I saw really did have a deeper meaning, I saw all the hidden messages and had deja vu almost daily. I had thoughts and dreams which actually happened in real life later on. Before this I was somewhat of a skeptic but honestly everything I experienced gave me more then enough proof to say that yes there is more out there, and there is deeper meanings to things. I barely did any drugs throughout this period, maybe a few hits of weed once or twice a week and some alcohol once a month. Thats about it I dont even smoke tobacco so I dont believe drugs had anything to do with it.

BTW, dreams (good dreams) are probably among my favorite things in life now. My life is pretty bad at this point (which Im working on fixing) and I have these beautiful dreams every month or two that just allow me to escape from all that and its really an amazing feeling to be completely free of stress and worries and your normal ego holding you back. I have dreams every night but most are either just normal or bad, the really good ones are more rare.
