I made some coconut oil. It will flat put some people out. I feel no effects from it. what gives.

It was my first time making it. Never got above 200. Is it my tolerance or do edibles work different on different people.

You need to make sure your mixture is fully encapsulated.

Your trying to create liposomes.

Here is an example of what you should be doing except our aqueous solution is oil
because thc is fat soluble and our added ingredient is hash or hash oil instead of
vitamin c.

Freeze and thaw of liposome mixture creates small unilamellar liposome vesicle.

Now with that you should be on your way. Hope this helps.

I got on the second run. Lol. I only made it twice now. First batch to weak, second batch way, way, way to strong.

I made some brownies and ate one, nothing, another, nothing. What I failed to realize until it was too late, they took about 2 hrs to really kick in. It was almost uncomfortable. I still feel it this morning.

So, heated both batches of oil and mixed. Should be about right.

My cooking method worked just not enough material. I ran one jar of oil to about 4 jars worth of trim and popcorn. Maybe more.

I took all material (frozen) and added to crock pot and covered in water added jar of oil.

I put aluminum foil over it then the lid then more aluminum foil to get a good seal.

I put the crock in the oven. I set it to warm and left over night. About 160-180 degrees.

The next morning I removed and strained.

3 one inch squares is the breaking point. lol.

I found it helps to eat light before taking them

I propose the following method to enable you to have complete control of your dosage.

This will allow you to intensify your experience based on your preference.

When you have experimented and learned your preferred intensity you will find yourself feeling satisfied for longer. Your lungs will thank you!!!

1 Gram of Bubble Hash (This is equivalent to a half ounce to one ounce, depending on frostiness of buds/trim)

2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil

Step One: Put the Bubble Hash in oven for 45 minutes at 240 degrees Fahrenheit, to decarboxylate similar to what was stated above

Step Two: Preheat Coconut oil in double boiler at slow rolling boil

Step Three: Stir in Decarb-ed Bubble Hash into preheated coconut oil

Step Four: Continue Double boil for 3-4 hours, maintaining slow rolling boil

This is now done, you can chill for later use for up to several months. You can also enjoy as is in any of your favorite foods or drinks. We love putting it in our tea.

I have also come to learn that different pans, temps, cook time, and type of cookie all play into the effects of the oil.

Like a glass pan would be 350 degrees and a non stick would be 375 for the same recipe. And different recipes call for longer or shorter cook times.

I think decarboxylation happens when you cook and the little differences are noticable.

I agree, whitebb2727. The details are very important. According to our research, 350 degrees Farenheit is much to high of a temperature for cannabis to be cooked/decarboxylated. This is near or above the temperature at which the majority of strains vaporize. 240-275 F is the maximum temperature used when cooking with cannabis.

I am posting this while enjoying a cup of chai tea with a .25g of blueberry bubble hash extracted into approx 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil... mmmmm blueberries and chai.

Cheers!!!

Sorry, a little wordy but I had to make my points. Hope this helps:

The Claim:
Personally, I have cooked 3 grams into 2 tablespoons before and ingested the full 3 gram dosage at once. This is not something I recommend for anyone not fully aware and prepared to undergo the powerful effects of a dose this size and I must reiterate the intensity of these sensations should not at all be taken lightly. I have built up tolerance over several years to the point where a dose of this size was manageable and this was my attempt of going a bit further out of my comfort range in pursuit of some spiritual investigation/experimentation. Anyone thinking to try this without a lot of experience in EDIBLES, not just smoking cannabis, should understand that the effects are multiples higher than a couple hits from your buddies bong. Regardless, if you already have your mind set on attaining something like what is described above the best I can do is share my experience from a time when I was also in pursuit of the same.
The recipe:
3g of some hybrid mid grade bubble hash, decarbed for 45 minutes at 260F and then double boil with coconut oil for 4hrs.
The experience:
I consumed my dose in a few spoonfuls as soon as it was done (still hot, really hot) and it took about 45min to come on to a noticeable level, after this what I felt was nothing short of a Hallucinogenic (sight and sound), Overwhelming and frankly, a bit uncomfortable experience for my taste. I ended up meditating for 3hrs to try and calm the overwhelming and discomfort that I was feeling, once my mind and body had settled it was quite the nice long but still heavy buzz. After taking the dose I believe I was up for 6 hours total, 3 while meditating, 3 jamming to tunes in a heavy trance before I fell asleep (all times are approx because honestly who knows how fast or slow time goes when you are that medicated).
The day after:
I usually wake up quite stoned the day after ingesting a doze of this size. Plan for 12-18 hours.
What we recommend (our opinion):
IS using 1g per 2 tablespoons because this is enough for 6 satisfying doses and one dose (approx .16g bubble hash extracted into 1tsp coconut oil) can also be considered too strong for some. This is also a good way to gauge your own tolerance and if unknown the strain and potency of your raw cannabis material. This is will enable you to work your way up or down in terms of dosage to find something that is suited to your preferred intensity.
Managing Overdosage: (IMPORTANT)
Always have good tasting, nutritious, cannabis free foods such as milk, salads, fruits, and veggies on hand in case the munchies set in. These foods can also help dilute the intensity and if needed a cold shower and coffee have been reported to be effective as well. Meditation and some good food works best for me in situations where I start feeling uncomfortable with my experience.

Like everything in life, moderation is best. Enjoy responsibly.

decarboxylation does not happen when cooking , internal temps to low & protected by oil (fat).
I would suggest decarb & add soy lecithin.
