Coconut Oil Hash Capsules Question

Im planning on making at least a cups or 2 worth of coconut oil for capsules
how many grams of hash oil should I use per cup..?

im aware of BadKittySMiles recipe but I was hoping for something that made more than 15 capsules

Semi-related question. Will that coconut oil, (or butter), eat through a gelatin capsule? I am half ready to make butter capsules to avoid taste. Have considered fridge or freezer would likely be OK, but in my car on a nice warm day, before it's time to eat it?...

they are gelatin capsules I store them in the freezer and they are fine
I think you will only have that problem with the vegetable or vegan capsules

I just made a batch of butter capsules the other day for the first time. The butter was made last year with an unknown amount of material, but I know its effective. . I also added some soy lecithin I had around to perhaps improve the absorbtion and effects. I need to test them more, I've only taken 2 at a time and with as much as I smoke its hard to tell if they were effective at that dose. I really need to give some to my buddy that doesn't smoke much and see what happens.

So far, I only take these capsules when I'm feeling "low". It seems that within 1-2 days I am back in "the zone".

yeah that's my problem too, im never sober enough to know for certain how strong they are
i gave some out to my friends and they said 2 was perfect for them and 3 was overkilll
also im using "0" size so 2-3 seems about right

Nice to see you Texas I make them pretty much the same way BKS does, but I have changed the amount. I use dry ice hash. I usually do 1 gram per 1 tsp coconut oil. sometimes half that for strength. But I follow her recipe and it works amazing. I have been making them for 3 years now. It is how I sleep. Not sure how that would add up for a cup tho...3teaspoons = 1 Tablespoon...4 Tablespoons = 1/4 cup. So 48 tsp hash oil per cup?

im going to give your ratio a try very soon

with this ratio, it isn't nearly as strong as BKS, but pretty strong anyway. I use 4 teaspoons in my taffies, 24 to the batch, and they come out roughly 72 mg each.
