Cococolas indagro journey

First off a big thanks to Darryl from indagro, @chazbolin, and @Greengenes707 for helping make this happen. I will be conducting my own testing with clones that are well under way with the indagro/pontoon light system. I have some more cleaning and preparations to make before this will truly begin, but wanted to get this thread up and going. I'm not new to induction as I have had a "off" brand in the past, smart grow induction, which now seems to have shifted gears into the led market hmmmm lol.
At any rate I am new to indagro and flowering with an induction so needless to say i am intrigued to see what I can do. To the likes of @hyroot, @chazbolin , @SCARHOLE, and others I'm sure I have forgot to mention, these lights can produce some great quality meds. I want to see how these can perform with the same ol growth system i have been using. Here are some pics of the light set up in its own area which is 5x7ft but I will be blocking off 2ft of it to bring it to 5x5ft total. The last pic is of the far red leds which are very very hard to see with the human eye lol. Makes me wonder if my lumigro led bulbs are too bright or too strong for my given area...

You'll be growing some nice bud with that set up. I did some DIY induction that mimicked the indagro with pontoon. It was industrial 5000k induction with T5 HO 630 nm and 660 nm specialty bulbs and a separate 730 nm trigger.
I hope to do the induction community justice. Funny thats how I know how long I've been on here posting annnd lurking at threads lol because I remember you posting about that. Quite a while ago no?

Yea it was 2 years ago or more I think. The set up was in my 2.5' x 4.5' cabinet that I have CXA's in now. Grew some nice flowers in there with that DIY.

Subbed, you gonna run co2 for them in flower or no?
Simple answer yes, but in reality its the left side area parallel to my bigger flower room side with the cmh in which I run co2. Its only separated by a wall, but has a door opening so with the fans running it should provide a nice amount of co2 to that area with the indagro as well.

At least with all the smoking I've done my long term memory is sharp lol, I thought i remembered that. I almost copied your idea. To give you credit , your the reason I even started using far red after seeing your results.

Hiya Coco! I'm glad to see you got your light in good shape. Shipping, especially this time of year when boxes are thrown wildly, is always iffy on lights getting there in one piece. Anyway I'm glad I could help and props to GG for making it available. It looks good in there. Can't wait to see your ladies.

If you haven't seen the private group on FB for IAGLA friend me and I'll invite you into the group.
As an experienced grower with past experience with induction I'm sure that forum would benefit from your thoughts and comments. I see Scar's autoflower update on there and the big boys who pontificate from on high can't say much. LOL. Well done Scar.

It was packaged in great condition. So it couldnt survived anything lol. I'm not so sure about the facebook thing haha unless it is that private. i'm just still in that old school mentality. But maybe I'll come around I could use some pointers for sure but the ladies are still loving life from the change over from cmh! They were much bigger than i anticipated so i went from my original plan of 3 to 2 plants

A couple of questions that come to mind (Attention induction growers :bigjoint:) Distance from veg seems good from 18" but maybe i could back off some for more coverage? And do I veg with the pontoon on....I read a little in @hyroot 's thread about it, but not sure whats best considering the far reds turn on automatically. Otherwise things seem to be under control and in looking great after a couple of full days.

Not sure if they advise this or not but if you do not want to have the far reds kick on you can simply pop the pontoon with two cords running to it, find the battery pack and disconnect it for the time being. I only know of this because when I first got my pontoon the shipping had jarred it so much that the battery pack had to be reconnected.
Although I do not see what they could hurt unless you are running some landracey sativa that starts flowering at like 16/8. I was at upwards of 24 inches when I had 15 plants in 2 gals. under just to give them some breathing room and give the light a little more coverage. I think 18 w/ the pontoon should be fine unless the gals tell you otherwise.

the pontoons will speed up veg growth. During veg I keep it about 2 feet away. Cover a 5x5 . Flower about 15 inches away. Still cover a 5x4.

Duly noted guys, thanks, i will try it out as I run my veg 20/4 anyhow. So I assume it will give 20 hour veg type growth with the "6" hours of dark due to the far reds. Critical sensi star i have under it is indica heavy pheno as well.
As to the coverage i'm impressed as 5x5 is that area they are in

I never took the IR's and phytochrome state into consideration for veg. I've always vegged at 20/4. Yeah I guess it would give them full 4 hours of sleep in the phytochrome state.

The Indagro is on full deck with the pontoon running! Day 2 flower , nothing too crazy as of yet, but, they look really good. i gave them a foliar feeding with liquid seaweed from blueplanet and small amount of dyna gro foliage pro and they were nice and perky when i came in the room to snap a shot :bigjoint:

Looking good I have two of the indagro par420s and have a third on the way with the pontoon I use them for veg right now but I am going to try the pontoon for flower.IAm going to run one with pontoon and one regular in a flower tent full of gsc, to compare to the cookies grown under hps and metal halide.

Day 11 since the flip to flower, i have been just using 12/12 and not sure if i should go to 13/11 but they seem incredibly happy as is. I will point out two things. I have been using my earth n grow kit this run, which is the white wires you see hanging, basically supposed to "ground" the plants like they would be outside in the actual ground. Do they work? I'm not 100% sure. But they don't use electricity either so I'm not complaining. And I have been using very Dyna gro foliage pro for these plants. Thats it....no supplements besides 1 ml per gal of technaflora magical. Foliage pro has been only 2.5 ml per gal. With those two changes and the indagro light I have the healthiest looking plants I have had in a while. I will admit I'm more concerned with yield/ quality so time will tell. At least I know great health is a big contributor to yield in most cases, and the pheno i have of def puts out both yield and quality. So with that all said I'm impressed with this light thus far.

Transplanted to 7 gal and added the cbd critical mass since last update as well
