Coco hempy questions

hello mates,

Going hempy again but this time around I would like to try my hand at coco

Does it matter the type/brand of coco I purchase? Botanicare/GH/off brand
Bag/brick?

Can anyone tell me the coco-perlite ratio I should be aiming for?

Does the coco need any prep before planting in it?

i've used bagged canna which is great stuff, but kinda pricey imo. i use botanic are bricks on the regular now. you need to pre-charge this by flushing with nutes.
i'm not running hempys,but i still don't recommend any perlite.....straight coco.
