Cobs flashing in Cutter/ Growmau5 10 cob kit

Hey all-
I recently built a light using the 10 cob kit from Cutter. The light has two Pairui drivers powering 5 cobs each. It has been running great for the last three weeks, but today one set of cobs began flashing on and off.
I switched drivers to that set of cobs and they worked fine; no flashing. The other cobs began flashing when hooked up to that driver as well.
It seems that there is an issue with the driver, but I can't figure out what it could be. Any thoughts?
Mark from Cutter is sending me a new driver, but I would like to know what's up with this one.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like the voltage is fluctuating up and down. When your COBs are wired in series like you do with the cutter kits, if you don't have enough voltage for all of them to run, then none of them will turn on because the mean resistance is too high. This is entirely a driver issue, very sure of it. Parui drivers seem to fail more often than MW from what I've read, but that's just casual observation, I don't have any real data pointing to that.
