CO2?

Getting the details worked out on my new grow space. I'll be running LEDs, which have less heat.

Less heat means I'm not looking at a mini-split to cool, and instead considering some occasional venting through scrubbers.

I could consider a CO2 supplementation, given the sealed room and controlled venting.

I'm just providing for myself and don't know if it's worth farting around with

Any opinions?

One should note that to actually benefit from elevated co2 levels your plant requires appropriately increased temperature to accelerate metabolic rates, however insufficient supply of light, water or nutrients will be a possible limitation.

Thanks Snaps. Part of the thought was that I could ventilate even less if I added CO2.

The LEDs planned easily light bleach plants, so I'm comfortable with that

The plants will be in 15 or 25 (haven't decided) gallon GeoPots with constant drip irrigation.

The soil itself will eventually be multi-generations old from recycling and able to keep up with simple amendments as we go.

So all-in-all I feel I can handle the CO2. The question remains is it worth it considering the cost of setting up and monitoring.

I looked up his name and see that's he's not a fan. And I gather he's quite the producer at 2+ g/w

I personally infuse my room with co2 on a controller, and did a side by side comparison with the strains I grow, both rooms had exact same equipment, diff temps 78 in non co2 and ran 84-86 in co2 room and had about 20-30% more weight from the co2 room and besides that they seemed to ripen a week before the non co2 room so ya for me personally ive made back my investments in co2 for all my rooms and then some.also found the flowers were denser in co2 room.

Thanks for the thought, LD. Curious what medium you use? Lights? I liked Heath Robinson's thought that CO2 isn't worth adding unless you have everything else maxed out. Snaps was on that same line of thinking.

Running an amended coco, in a 4x4 scrog under a 1000w for each 4x4, I personally go the organic route, I use an old family recipe and tinkered with it for use in coco and im having fantastic results, just add water no ph, no ppm, no fuss at all so im basically mixing a little old school with new, I wish I was getting 2g/w, best ive been able to get in what I think is a perfectly dialed in room is 1.2g/w more tinkering is coming, it helps to have 12 rooms to play with so I can do recorded grows to see what works best.
