CO2 PPM & Grow room Temps

Ok, this is a question for your sealed room growers out there.

What is the ideal day time temp when running your Co2 ppm at 1500?

How much do you let your night time temp fluctuate from the daytime temp?

Thanks in advance!

80-85=on
65-70= off

Ya, I agree with chuck on the temps,, however did you know when you increase the co2 level to min 1500 ppm, you also have the option of increasing your room temp? or allow it to rise to 85-86 without stressing your plants? It's true!! really!! Large grows will use co2 as a standard, just because the temps run too high. They adjust by increasing it (c02), this is done in places where bringing the temp down to exeptable levels is to difficult. South american Rose producers use c02 gas to battle hot temps. It keeps the roses from wilting on long stems in unfavorible green house climates. It's simply cheeper than Airconditioning a green house. Temps are allowed to rise but no wilting.

Chcuk is correct... please dont listen to the ppl who run at 90* lol. I mean if you do it an it works go go for it but temps usually have a range not a steady number so think safe.

Awesome. Thank you for your replies.

I was aware that Co2 implementation will allow higher growing temps. That is one of the reasons I would like to go this route. The fact that a sealed grow will eliminate any smells is my other big reason for going with Co2.

You're still going to want something to combat the smell (carbon filter). I wouldn't say it's a fact that sealed grow rooms eliminate any and all smell lol.

If there is no air exchange I don't see how any smell would leave the confined area. Unless I am mistaken and smells can travel thru a solid object.

Listen to this!! I run a sealed room and now that I do organics the smell is much stronger and you can smell it as you get closer to the grow room

I run a sealed room with co2 and if I dont have my carbon filter running you can smell it a couple hundred yards away.
I don't think you have a sealed room then. The point of a sealed room is there is no air exchange inside the room to outside the room. Smell doesn't pass thru walls.

weed smell can travel throu anything. U need a Filter even if you are just pumping back into the same room as the smell will get out no matter how sealed the room is.

i just finished my scrog tucking and i start day 1 of week 3 flower tmr... every single leaf is upward and spread out perfectly. co2 is just awesome. easily couple hundred tops ( 2, 5-16ft screens) and every leaf is up. even lower ones under screen which will be choped tmr.

machead is right its called a scrubber you just mount the fan to the filter set it on the floor with the fan pointing to the ceiling this will or should get rid of all or most of the smell

My room is sealed pretty damn good id say, idont even cool hoods (adjusta wings) so its completely sealed. During harvest I have to run a 5 foot carbon filter, an ona gel everywhere. And that shit still stinks. If you don't have a scrubber and your neighborhood doesn't stink, your weed ain't good, sealed or not sorry to say

only reason to run higher temp chuck is correct, with co2, the plants don't respond to co2 with pore lighting and colder temp, , if you cant get it at least 80 its a waste of money running co2, my opinion only

Mine looking mighty fine at 87/88f with 6000w of lights!

i have noticed they are drinking a lot so I have backed of the nutes!

Think I should drop temps to 85f
