Co2 generators or tanks?

Hi guys,

I am thinking of supplementing my grow with co2.

Which is more efficient, using co2 generators LP gas or tanks?

My roof is too high so to get the room to a high level of co2 will be almost impossible.

As co2 is heavier than air, if I had to setup a misting system above my plants, feeding them the co2, will the co2 that I will be "spraying" on the plants be absorbed by the plants?

Another idea I am thinking of doing, is using carbonated water in my misting system. As the water is sprayed, the co2 will escape, enriching the plants around it with co2.

Thoughts??

Thanks :)

forget the carbonated water, that is just not going to work. Having fans to move air is a no brainer. Just put c02 tube behind fan.
a generator on nat.gas is the cheapest, the other 2, you have to go get gas. on either of the gas ways, you will have some added heat to deal with. Either way you go,make sure to seal room as tight as possible.

Thank you for the video, I am in a room that has 15 meter ceilings. I am not using tents, the video's you posted do not seem to be comparable to my grow room setup.

Why would carbonated water not work? if the co2 is in the water and you break the water up into small particle sizes (mist) the co2 will rapidly escape the water into the air surrounding it. A misting system is a more accurate delivery method of co2 as the water misters can be aimed at the plants allowing you to target exact bud sites to deliver your co2 too.

Obviously this is all an idea for now as I have not tested this yet, however I would like to gather some other opinions on my idea before proceeding further.

Thanks:)

You may need to build a false ceiling with plastic visqueen and 2x4 pieces of wood. Like a tent.

I am sure Prince Charles will kick in to run a gas line or you can use the CO2 from the castle's gin bar.

This is an advanced question? Water the plants with carbonated water lmao. Someome never paid attention in chemistry.

Bottom line, you cant use co2 systems when the volume of your room is that big. You would run through a 50lb bottle.of co2 in a day.
