Just a question or two........
Can we grow without CO2? Is it needed that much ,and if so will a fermentation brew do the job or is it a waste of time and I really need to get a bottle and timer/regulator and that.
I have a grow tent 2.1m*2.1m*1.2m , 2*6" fans one in, one out, carbon filter ,oscillating fan, water drip system, heated air and water and 2 * 600hps. ph/ec/ppm temp meter and 24 babies booming along seem to be doin well just starting to train now but does CO2 make that much difference the hydro shop says know he has not led me astray yet but id really like to here wot anyone has to say on the matter..
And if fermentation will do the job I was planning on a 5 gallon brew replacing every 3-4 days but is it a wage of time ?

CO2 is not necessary.. you just need lots of fresh air exchanged. I can hit close to 1GramPerWatt with no Co2.

IF you can accurately deliver co2 during lights on at the 1500 PPM required, then go for it.

I homebrew, mainly for distilling purpose and the creation of co2 is not consistent. it will start slow.. peak and then taper off. I would not use that for co2 delivery in the size of your grow.

I supplement co2 with a propane burner, its consistent, and delivers plenty of co2 accurately. I can deal with heat and humidity properly so its not a bad thing for my environment.

You don't need it unless a sealed room. Brew won't generate enough IMHO to make a diff and tent temps tend to be higher than you want for beer fermentation.

actually, to be correct, you DO need it, now, you don't have to supplement it, you can get it for free with air exchanges like stated above. And like stated above, if supplementing, do it right or don't do it, right includes a monitor, burner and or regulator/bottle
