I don't know how they could have been charged. MMED doesn't give primary provider information to LE. If LE contacts the registry they will only verify the validity of the red card.

Nonetheless, I am confident the information I have provided is legit. I had to find the answer, most centers and lawyers didn't know. Call NORML and ask them. We did. It was amusing to see how many lawyers and le agents don't understand the law.

This is an excellent point; the laws have changed so much and so quickly that no one really knows what the laws or the legal boundaries are anymore.

The backlash is that juries are refusing to convict in many cases of high plant counts our 'excessive quantity', using jury nullification. DAs are taking the hint, and are pushing for convictions less for pot and more for other drugs, guns, cartel affiliations, etc.

Shop tenders don't know the laws. They are often trained to tell customers that they can't grow their medical count if they sign them as a primary provider.
Exactly. They'll TELL you, so you don't grow and compete with them, especially now that they gave you a 'discount' to be locked in as their customer!
