i have seen this before with a shishkaberry i had a while back. but the bannana didnt show up til very late in flowering and i still dont see how it would produce a viable seed before the plant just died. but i have never grown a seed. How long does it take for a seed to grow to a viable point?
The plant he had seeds in was an Afghani #1 which is 6 week flowering, he thought they were blue cheese 10 week flowering and thought another 2 weeks wouldn't hurt when he chopped them down there was a lot of seeds in the bud, the bud was still good but very seeded.

None, the seeds he used 1st were found in some bud (from my mate who i gave the sees to) and the original seeds were fems so it might have been an odd nanna that popped out on the original grow.

Ah, little yins in the fold. How nice!! I will post some of my little ones later in the week when they start taking on some character. Very distinctive indeed Mr West. The DPP sure does have sat dom leaves as it gets older, and the nodes are very tight Mr West!!!

Smoke report on the DPP to follow.......watch this space.

This is an initial Smoke Report on the Deep Psychosis. The strain is still being developed but with it being at F2 stage Mr West thought it would be good to put out a smoke report. So after some collaboration, which even included our favourite Fairy!! (she's a wee darling by the way!) this is what we have so far. As far as the plant is concerned, it is throwing out lovely long sativa dominant looking leaves, which comes through in the smoke. The plant is stout so far for a sativa, with lovely tight nodes. So without further ado, the Deep Psychosis Report.

Powerful smell, first time I smoked a bud it was sent to me in a pot and I could smell it even though it was wrapped inside 2 baggies, when I opened the lid there was a pungent release of odour. The weed has that distinctive lime colour with very light orangey brown hairs.

Various smells are detected when you open a bud, you get a fruity flavour, reminiscent of the DPQ. When you rip the bud right open, clustered globe shaped calaxyes are revealed along with a more intense sweet smell. The cured bud seems to have a similar structure to it's not so distant cousin the UK Cheese. The nugs are compact and hard and heavy with crystals.

When crumbled the herb mixes the sweet and the fruit smell to bring our a syrupy fruity tinge to the nose, not dissimilar to Tropical Fruit Mixer Drink, the concentrated kind. There are also underlying smells of sour in there as well but overpowered to my nose by the fruity sweet tropical aroma.

The unlit joint also continues with a similar taste as with the smell that you get to the nose.
With fire to the joint the initial draw produces a floral smokey flavour. The first buzz hits you like the cheese, to the front of your face, with the skunky combo flavour assaulting the senses.
Nice even taste through the joint. I have a small fruity ball of flavour collecting at the back of my throat, although the smoke does seem to be nice and smooth.

Nearing the end of the joint and I can already feel the sparkling in my eyes. It's a definite sativa dominant plant with a frontal facial stone that tightens your head up and stretches its way to the back of the scalp and behind the ears.

Quite racy and not at all couchy from the initial 20 minutes of buzz. I think you would be more than happy getting up and being active on this green girly. It's all very much upstairs for me at the moment.

The spell check on this write up shows how it messes with your mind slightly and gives everything an almost cartoon like feel to it. Definitely has some psychedelic properties but none that would make you feel like you are loosing it, as Mr West agreed, a more euphoric feeling. A great smoke I would say to share amongst friends whilst doing something that requires limited levels of intelligence and coordination. Although I am not a game player so not sure how it would effect that experience.

Over half an hour I am still very happy and my faces feel nice and relaxed and slightly numb. My eyes are showing severe signs of glassyness.

This is a smooth smoker, great for getting a nice buzz on during the day. It certainly got me through 2 hours of Xmas shopping!!!

Pictorial to follow...........

Peace, DST

Thanks guys, ML, Gen....

Well if you like the funnny face feeling you will love both this and the BX2. Personally looking forward to trying the Psychosis on it's own as well. The genetics from those strains are top notch...imo.

me too i saw a journal with a side by side uk cheese vs psychosis and the psychosis seed like the better plant overall to me. toward the end they were harder to tell apart but u could still see the dif.they even had a story about how some folks who thought the has cheese really has psychosis. but of course ive never had either 1 so who has had em both and which is really better to grow and or smoke?
