So I wana try breeding blue pit and sour cherry to make blue cherry, does it make a difference to what way round the male and female are?

Like would I need blue pit male and sour cherry female to call it blue cherry if male and female were other way
Round would It be a sour pit?

Hopefully I have 1 of each out both strains

That is a tricky one. In me experience you have some strong breeding plants that show through any cross. Dog , bubba kush are great examples, but you don't know till you cross it and grow out some baby's. I would select a male of each and a female of each and make it both ways.

Yep, the pods didn't open until harvest. I exposed the seed manually.
This strain works well with early pollination and the seeds are ready much before the pods open.

Sharp eye you got there :-)
