close up PICS near harvest

to be honest i say 7 weeks flowering but thats a bit of a lie lol, theyve been inside under 12/12 for the last 7 weeks but they showed pistils about 3 weeks prior to me bringing them in, obviously natural light outside wasnt 12/12 so it was happening more gradually... nevertheless that was what happend
 
yeh i decided 2 go for it coz theyve been flowering for 9-10 weeks rlly...
no lights for the next 2 days...
already cut off all their branchin fan leaves and poked 3 holes on the stem of each....

ill post pics of harvest on monday :D

Did you remember to make sure the moon was in Leo? Also make sure to bathe in pig's blood and hedgehog manure while chanting "fluffy nugs and crystals" for the unicorn goddess for 72m 58s before harvesting. I hear praying to the sky wizard helps too but I don't remember the details.

Lets try and get it into his little brain... ahem...
ok the reason all the fan leaves are cut and several holes are poked in the base of the stem is to stress the plant so that it thinks it is dying and puts out one last effort to grow... same with the 72 hour dark period before harvest, not only is it a form of stress but cannabis rejuvenates its thc during the dark period so it is hoped (because this theory has been contested) that the plant will max-out its thc level just in time for harvest....

so you see silly boy.. thats why we do it...

dude, you should not of cut off the leaves and cut holes in the stems during the 48 hr darkness. it makes NO sense, its gonna take the energy and shit saved up to try to keep growing even though its not getting any light. it sucks up the energy in the leaves and puts it into finishing the buds

You may want to try not doing this on your next grow. You will find out first hand it is not accomplishing anything.

Just because you post a lot doesn't mean you actually know what you are talking about. Poking 3 holes in the stem? seriously? Find me scientific proof of this please. You are right (somewhat) about the dark period. You can gain up to 5% extra THC in a 72 hour dark period before harvest. Meaning if you have 20% THC you will end up with 21%. There is empirical evidence of this.

Cutting off a healthy fan leaf is NEVER recommended by a REAL gardener. Where the hell is the plant supposed to pull nutrients from once you've put it in the dark? You cut off its nutrient backups. Again there is more empirical scientific evidence proving this.

Poking holes in the stem....REALLY? This is borderlined fairy magic. Calling me a child? An ad hominid attack is the first failing defense. I was just explaining to my wife how I think this is my last day on RIU because of all the nonsensical bullshit people spout about growing plants. Most of the posters here never even passed a biology class let alone tried to learn anything about botany that they didn't read on a pothead forum.

The only reason I'm responding is because you attacked me personally. The posters after you laughing at me are now laughing at you, sir. There is now 1 less person who actually knows what he's talking about around here. Have fun pretending your a botanist/magician. I'm done with this site.

I agree with you completely. Accept for one thing...your sensitivity. You're obviously somewhat intelligent enough to know he's lacking common sense in waves. Cutting off fan leaves and poking holes? Fairy magic indeed. No need to take one persons stupidity to heart and throw a tantrum. Of course its a pothead forum. What'd you expect, rockect scientists? Commom people solve problems with common fixes. Common people also believe what they want. If somehow he thinks stressing a plant that's trying to grow is gonna help production...then let him do as such. If you don't agree call him an asshole for attacking you and have him google some shit and find out he's mistaken on his own. No one asked you to babysit you angry teenage girl. Calm down. lol thats what im sayin man calm down,
i didnt mean to attack you personally, nor do i really believe that pokin holes in a plant will magically give more thc,
but iv found posts by many people who do believe that stressing the plant, be it by poking holes, kicking the pot, or starving it of water actually benefits the plants in their last days. so as i didnt do any of that on my last grow i thought id give it a try.
ofcourse just coz i post more than you doesnt give me any bearing to know more than you on the subject...
i was simply stating an idea that i got from another source which thought id give a try

so im sorry if u were offended but you were trying to make me look daft wthout even questioning my motives for doing such things

lay off monkz guys! its a very popular myth it helps to do that shit. their are tons of rumors and myths people spread around. you guys never did something someone said was a good idea that was backed up by misinformed people when you were newer?
