Clones after transplant to soil

After transplanting my clones to soil, they die in a few days, at first i said it was too much nutes ( me thinking they will suck up the nitrogen etc..). So the second time around i transplanted them into only soiless mix , after a day or two they withered and dried out. I say maybe i need a humidity done for the clones after i transplant them to soil.
Ohh and im using a led light works fine to because they root etc under it

I see first root in the dome, or even twirled inches of roots on the cube and I plant in promix.
I water with plain water, 1/4th the volume of the container I plant into, with a drain.
it sits under a 485 watt t5 fixture. when the big cup is light I water again.

How big is the root mass?
You could possibly be transplanting them too early (my guess)
You should wait until you have a good amount of roots developed. Don't rush to move them, wait until they have a nice bunch of roots before you move them gently into a moist environment.
Keep the light away until they take hold, and only use light nutes in the beginning.
Good luck

Thanks guys, i also did some outside the old fashioned way, well kinda. I used rooting powder and just in the dirt, first in a cooler with a clear plastic to hold moisture and allow light and other clones in a plastic container which i recently removed its cover, those clones seem good or on their way to being good. Some already showing roots
