Classic, true, sour not sweet, Sour Diesel in 2022?

Many years ago I made tons of seeds from a pack of rez's ibl, I lost my last mother plant some years back and have started 50 to find another.

I find with this strain you need at least 20 seeds to have a chance of finding a nice one; they often have only a mild taste, compared to the keepers.

I have also started a pack of karma sowahh alongside to compare and maybe chuck some pollen.

So I harvested the first 10 plants that were a little ahead of the rest, had four sowahhs in these, the first thing notable is that the buds are quite different, there is some definite OG kush influence in these sowahhs, I can see the silvery looking OG style in them.
Reminds me of karmas headbanger, which is a kush/sour diesel hybrid. The ibls have a certain sweetness, some are more fuel, it's been many years since i last grew this but iirc the really good ones are so sweet they're sour.

I would love some SD IBL beans to run thru, so I'm excited to see how yours turn out.

Hopefully I can find some one day.

I have yet to taste an SD that tastes even close to the original 90s Sour I used to smoke all the time.

Still searching tho
