Looks like you're right on the ball...more time never hurts so if you feel like its two more weeks till chop, then two more weeks it is. They're looking fecking sweet though I'm sure you'll enjoy the smoke

It's impossible to tell. they look great but it's all in the trichs. I can tell with a 10X loupe.... cheap and available just about everywhere....a worthy investment.

You should still be able to see the amber with the naked (<--- naked) eye.

If you wait too long and go past the peak, well the thc diminishs. If you dont have a 10x to see trichs, judge by pistils. Better safe than sorry.
I would say yes by the pic of the brown and dead pistils.

I would say yes, they are ready now. with most strains there is usually about a 2 week harvest window, some are better taken early into maturation and some strains are better taken latter into maturity. but I say chop chop

They can still get a week for sure... but you can also cut them down if you want

Where do ya ppl get this? I know it was mentioned in a reputable book, but it is sooooooo wrong! Ya can let ALL the trichs go amber, I have seen it done! In order to let mary go to where she starts to degrade, ya have to go WEEKS past full maturity! An apple that is beginning to rot tastes sweeter than one picked @ its peak because all of the sugars are being forced out in an attempt to throw the seeds. It is about plant survival instincts. Same w/herb, brah! The closer ya get to it going "bad", the stronger it will be due to the fact that the plant is trying to push out pollen receptors fer the emitters that it seeks (but hopefully will not find), from a male plant.
Wen ya look @ yer bud, the trichs are very evident if ya know wat yer lookin fer. Ya cant see em individually, but as a group their color will be evident even to the naked eye. Yes, a scope DOES help and is HIGHLY recommended! However, if ya look and yer girls and ya can see that the coloring is more amber than clear, ya know yer on yer way.
