Day 28F:

Just chillin at this point. Tweaking things to make sure she's happy. Coming along nicely.

(I fucked up some pistils while defoliating)

Shes looking nicer every day bro. I wouldn't worry too much about them Pistils either. I'd keep an eye on that tip burn though.
Yeah it's been pretty consistent since veg. Just about 1/8" on most all the tips. Doesn't seem to be spreading though.
On another note, I've been PH'ing my water a little higher lately and she seems to be getting greener in the yellowish areas. I think you were right man, root zone PH issue.

90% of issues are root zone pH seriously. People will likely jump on and savage me but advanced nutrients sensi grow and Bloom ph perfect doesn't lie when it says throw away your meter. Rests at 6.2 for me after settling Everytime :) and growth rates are ridiculous.

As long as it's not spreading. You will be sweet. If you wanna push harder on your next run. Use amino acids and whey protein for the first 4 weeks of Bloom. Allows you to feed a higher ec without burn. (I know cos I got tip burn with the same feed I was using minus the aminos just after week 4)

Nice man, I'll try that with these Mailbus. Just a fee more things to order and I'll have the new setup rocking

What medium you gonna be growing in? Same light or you building a new one? You going for a tent or still In a cab?
Probably soil for now until I have the cash for a flood and drain table. Although I might go to top feed coco in transition if you can persuade me. Brand new light, nothing fancy, but it will do the job just fine. Approx 700w of the new Citizen 1216s. Setting up a 4x4 tent for veg/flower for a cycle or two until I can set up the 4x8 flower tent, then the 4x4 becomes veg. The cab will become the experimental section; CBD, unique strains, etc. Still going to finish the lower section of the cab for seeds/clones. Now I need to find room for a drying tent somewhere...

Let me ask 2 questions to decide whether or not you should switch to coco.

Are you able to visit your room daily to feed? If yes... Defo coco

Do you wanna see growth rates in my humblest of opinions twice as fast as soil?
Seriously I vegged like 10 weeks in soil and got nothing like the results I have in coco.

I'm going 4 x 8 next run. Cob one side hps in the other. Same strain but undecided on which. Just need to finish these up and get shit rolling. (it's a new location so need to lay floors and all sorts)

Yes, and yes. Lol I also like to step away for little vacations here and there though. I see automated drip systems in my near future... 8-)
I'll dig into your thread a bit more, let's chat in pm.

Stoked to hear you're upgrading as well! Undecided on hps/led or on which strain?

Day 30F:

I think I've finally figured out what this weird yellowing is, and it's a combination of things that are my fault. I haven't been watering to much runoff lately because it's a pain in the ass to soak up the water as it comes out (yes, I know about the bucket-head, no I don't have one). I also think I've been reading the colors from these GH drops incorrectly and PHing much too low. As a result, I feel like I've got a salt buildup and a fucked up root zone PH, causing a Potassium deficiency. As I was watering today I found these guys hanging out at the bottom of the canopy:

Everything I have read points to Potassium def, and I can only imagine it's a PH issue, so I've been PH'ing higher and hitting her with an extra half gallon of h2o in between feedings to clear things up. I've also turned the light down a bit as I feel having 220w of LED about 8" from the canopy was only making things worse. If anyone cares to chime in about my methods, please do. In the meantime...

Bro I pull a few lowers everyday that just aren't getting enough light any more. They do yellow up. I could go in my room and take a pic of my lower leaves and sites. And your mind would be at rest. It may be a ph issue but I wouldnt recommend the extra half gallon between feeds soil doesn't flush well. Just lower your ppms during feeds for the next 1 or 2.

Day 42F:

She had a bit of a defoliation today. Sort of half-ass following the GG/Miami Mango defol routine. She seems to be receptive. This strain is so frosty and aromatic, I might have to re-veg and take some clones! bongsmilie

Flush starting soon, can't wait to harvest and taste this girl!
