If finally worked, the 707, and the blueberry headband are nice, ive grown the blueberry and smoked the 707. Here is a pic of a bud of my blueberry headband. I only got 26 grams from my plant, i had to harvest early because of a power outage but it was under 300w cfl with just 2 weeks veg. Im pretty sure the temp drop from losing power caused the purple color. It didnt even have a purple tint until it cooled down. It sat in the dark for almost 60 hours before i harvested it. Dank ass bud though

Damn that looks real good. I might pop (probably will) 2 GTH and possibly the 707. Maybe the blueberry as well after seeing that photo. Yield is not majorly important. I just want a couple of ounces to get me through the winter.

I harvested after 6weeks, if i didn't have the power out the yeild would have been better. Even as immature as it was that was one potent girl. The blueberry flavor didn't come through. It wasn't even that strong smelling. Had a skunky deisel scent.

Vostok, this is my first grow. I expect to mess up quite a bit. I feel it would be foolish to pop most of or all the beans and screw them up. I'd rather pop 4 or 5 and screw less up (or maybe not screw up, just less of a risk).

If its your first grow, run those autos or dominate indicas. Easier to manage.

One thing that sucks is with autos your missing out on big part of the learning experience. Also if your only running a few plants, stick with fems if ya can

Yeah guys great advice. That's why I love this community. I don't want to pop all 6 GTH (but I might) mostly because I want to harvest a variety. I was thinking about popping the indica dominants, but I prefer a Sativa smoke. It's such a hard choice

Shockingly enough I feel pretty confident. I feel as if I will grow good crops. I have a 4x4 tent with a 1000w mh/hps setup. 6" x24" phresh filter with a 6" 440 cfm hurricane inline fan. Have a soil 60% FFOF & 40% perlite (well I haven't mixed the soil yet, but that's the plan). All I need is nutrients. I plan on using FF Trio

When i grow indicas i usually harvest about a week earlier than most people would, i feel like the early harvest produces a more energetic and cerebral high. I have heard much debate on this, and maybe its all in my head (im no expert) but i feel like it works. Keep in mind, the trade off can be a decent loss in yeild. Some strains really blow up in the last weeks before harvest so thats week early could mean a huge difference in yeild, maybe even 10-15%

(Note: I may be an idiot for my early harvest method, but i also prefer sativa smokes. The long flower time and (usually) smaller yeild makes sativas a rarity in my grows. Normally when i grow a pure sativa it is for my head stash. )

By all means, jump in the deep end. Ive seen first timers have some grows that put me to shame. Sounds like you got a decent setup, and you seem intelligent enough.

Are you going to try to Scrog? Lst? Or just let them ladies grow

In this case and in my experience, anything crossed with Critical is real easy to grow and really fast finishers by weeks with good yields and smoke, I would do that one, less can be more in experience and get some feel for growing and the read up and study the rest of your strains that you have so to make a better judgment for your grow op next crop.
