Alright well they are called rocoto, easily mistaken for a small red bell proper but you'll know about it quickly as they are fucking hot, toilet roll in the freezer spicy, they also have black seeds which I've never seen in any other chilli
I only got on here today havnt seen any notifications on this thread damn cos I woulda guessed ricottos as I love them stuffed and pickled :)

Chili head here, used to collect hot sauces also, I couldn't remember what they called the 'chili rings"
goggled it..."RISTRAS"

but the urban dictionary has a different meaning :
TOP DEFINITION
chili ring
The feces that remains around your asshole if you do not wipe well enough.
She had a nice ass, but also a nasty chili ring. She's gotta wash her butt.....
WTF ?

Ristras are the strings of chile you see hanging along fences, on patios and on portals all over New Mexico. In the Fall, you can buy ristras at farmer's markets and roadside stands. Ristras are sometimes used for decoration, and are said to bring good health and good luck. More often, they are hung up to dry for later cooking and eating

looking gd!..I love any sauce with Trinidad scorps in them my best homemade red sauce has the trinidads in them...
Great tasting Chillies, I really like them. Rate them up there with habs for flavour.

My poblano, aji lemon and Tasmanian habs have all sprouted. Will have to get pictures when I get a chance.

Bought a cubic metre of compost over the weekend so have a busy few days preparing garden beds now for those, tomatoes and zucchini.

I honestly love this time of year. Few busy weeks of preparation and then I'll have a long summer of kicking back with beer, buds and veg with only minimal tending. I'm a pretty lazy gardener, everything is set up early to basically look after itself :bigjoint:
Perfect thats the way it should be...got a programme handy for bastard aphids mate ?

Keep the ants under control with surface spray and ant sand around the pots. The aphids don't bother me so much if the ants are under control but if they get out of hand the soap spray is first and then pyrethrum.

At current count I have eight chilli types sprouted. Hopefully it's going to be a good year.

Anyone a fan of Fatalis?
