Ah shit, that sucks man. Can you get some fans blowing in there somehow just to keep air moving?

Man, your plants are magnificent, so damn frosty too!!

How much neem seed meal do you use in your soil? I just got a big bag the other day and am thinking of adding it to my 'cooking' soil.

i moved a box fan into the room and reversed my intake fan to exhaust so hopefully gets me by for the next few days. i also took my exhaust fan out into the yard, swung it around like a lasso for momentum and then bashed the piece of shit into the ground. then retired it to the garage for "storage". hate to have stressful conditions during such a crucial time... my last batch of 75 gallons of soil has ~1/2cup neem per cu.ft. of soil. anyways after a few hours with the intake reversed to exhuast and an extra fan the temps are down about 6 degrees and humidity down to low 50's....still too high to be optimal, might borrow a dehuey and run it tomorrow.

what you see growing now didnt actually have any neem in the initial mix. i topdressed some as soon as i bought it though... like 3ish weeks into flower i think? wish id had some diatomaceous earth to throw on there too, goddamn fungus gnats jamming me up.

Hope you can sort something out mate!
And cheers for the info on the neem too!

put a box fan in the window, temps back down to 79. the girls are definitely going to be ready to come down soon. checked em out with the scope today and the majority of trichs are cloudy. 85% or more...just gonna let em fatten up a bit..fade is kicking in, lots of nice colors. will be keeping an eye out for any amber but i dont think theyre going to go much longer than 7.5 weeks.

Gnoot thinks these girls really need to flower... mercy me they are big and bushy. 1st is sour cherry, 2nd is plemon, 3rd the monstrous Dog bx2 looms in the corner.. considering 1 of the 3 to go into a large outdoor container and live free this summer. then we have the next round of up and comers, 3 Barefoot doctor 3 buddhas hand, yet to be sexed.. 2 have been topped, 4 have been trained the way i likes it. we'll see how it goes. in the back row some seedling sprouters are 6 more dessert breath from @genuity and 4 Bingo Pajama (Kudra/Moet x appalachia) :weed: also not pictured as much are the surviving seedlings that i couldnt help but pop before vacation......woops. a few are looking fine and the others are recovering with some tlc. 3 each dessert breath and sunshine 4.
then a shitty camera phone zoompic

and heres the most recently flowered plants... more fireballs, didnt scrog this time, but i like the way theyre coming in..they are almost to 3 weeks from flip.

veg tent will have room in a week or less, next up to get popped from my seed stash will be honeybee from the genstash and a few more bingo pajama... the lore from the book that strain is named for (bingo pajama) fits perfectly with "honeybee"... so they will grow in tandem!IMG_1351.JPG

bad omen? time to harvest? who knows, definitely a first for me. poor lil birdie...Dog had a pretty guilty look on his face when i asked him to come check it out...but not much room in there for him to apply his hunting prowess. working theories are that it sneaked its way into the grow room.. disoriented it flew around until being sucked into the inline fan (he was found on the floor below the windowsill my exhaust fan blows out), whereupon its neck or internal organs were subject to fatally traumatic injuries. Or, on the brink of death, lil birdie perched on my window sill, died and fell in. Or maybe it was after my worms? He will respectfully be given a proper burial, either in the wild where he belongs or perhaps in the worm bin so he can be returned to the earth, thereafter i will smoke to his memory. I think I will name him Fry the Finch, who wanted his final moments to exist within the godly confines of a cannabis garden. I am honored by you Fry the Finch!

Noot your girls looks great homie! Your Cherry Pie looks incredible. Very excited to see you run @genuity s Honeybee as well. Oh yea! And today I scored a free compost hookup! Horseshit already composted/mixed with straw and tree bark I think he said. But I can have all I want so hellz yea! Gonna start making another batch of soil soon. Almost ready to start buying parts for my first COB build. I'm just over HPS man...I <3 my 600 but damn....the end-product and #s speak for themselves. 'Tis the way of the future....and i'm not getting left behind. I'm loving organics.

Bummer about the bird. I have to ask if any of your equipment/etc was damaged by chance? I'm an animal lover through and through so good call on the burial lol. If that were to happen to me I'd have to make some kind of special ceremony as well or w/e lol. *TAPS plays softly*

Awesome dude. free piles of shit is the best... the things you never thought would be the most valuable free hook up you ever got! glad youre making the switch to cobs, i donmt think youll be disappointed. i know i wasnt...the last run i did with 2 cob tents and 1 hps tent my yeilds and potency were better in the cob tents and the hps tent took like 1.5-2 weeks longer to finish. but ya... after my first build i promptly invested in 2x the same build... in the process of ordering the 4th 600w setup. then probably another 3000w for the first phase of Expansion 2016/17

p.s. COB led grown buds showed not only higher potency overall but higher numbers in the less known, studied, investigated, whatever.., more medicinal cannabinoids, like thcv, cbc, cbd,, etc. . . i'm still awaiting harvest & test results for COB + 100% organic grown buds.. confident in an increase...then once i get some supplemental UV lights going ill compare those results as well, again confident in an increase.. but in ~30+ish test results i checked out from buds selling like hot cakes recently at a "sesh", nothing i saw hit "impressive" numbers for THC, and essentially none of it had the THCV, CBD etc etc for medicinal effects... seems like between industry breeding, standards, and bad spectrum HPS, its going to take several years more to get past not only legalizing fully but getting it "figured out" on the scientific level for real medicine, at least on the mainstream anyway..(as much as i feel knowledge is free and to be shared, the way the world works these days some people simply dont deserve to know the...ummm, i wont call them secrets, but... nuances, or subtleties...i guess.. of growing top shelf bud. i dont claim to know fuck all or have the best bud around or anything like that.., always learning, always looking for a "better" way...so always a grain of salt with my drunken posts (almost any time i type more than a single line...) so ya...am super drunk and other things so ought to stop babbling and go to bed! .... maybe even put under pants on........
RIP FRY THE FINCH FOREVER ANDEVER

i too am an animal lover, Fry was handled with care, given a heartfelt ceremony, and entombed in a wrap of hand selected 11 finger cannabis leaves. He is currently being preserved until his final commitment to the earth.

no equipment damage.. my inline exhaust fan is actually brand new after the last one shit the bed, so that breaking wouldn't be ideal, but a small price in comparison to Fry's free spirited life as a happy bird! after some brief googling i think Fry's demise may have been related to this :
"House Finch eye disease was first noticed in 1994 by FeederWatchers in the Washington, D.C., area. Birds infected with this disease (also called Mycoplasmal conjunctivitis) appear to have red, swollen, runny, or crusty eyes. In extreme cases the eyes become swollen shut and the bird becomes blind"
if one were to zoom in on the sad depiction of poor Fry's lifeless body one would observe his eyes to match this description. which, while sad in its own sense, seems to me less tragic and or traumatic than getting chewed up by high speed fan blades after frantically flying about for a point of egress...think of the equivalent human stumbling drunkenly into a jet engine turbine and being spit out the back... not that many scenarios allow for drunk jerks to stumble into jet engines, but i mean dead birds in the grow room arent really a regular occurrence either...

a streak of bad luck.. all of my dessert breath so far have turned out male, holding out hope for the last 2 seedlings coming in. all the sunshine 4 i popped were male also...except for 1 that hasnt shown sex yet. have ~200w of UV bulbs in now, first night of running 1 bulb the timer was set to outlet on rather than timer on and ran for full cycle, burned up some of my plants. . .

sour cherry and plemon praying hard.. 2nd is sc x hd getting fat.. 3rd is the first day after sunburn....IMG_1652.JPG IMG_1645.JPG IMG_1635.JPG
