Chemical burn or nitrogen deficiency....?

I just saw that my star plant has yellowing on the tips of its bottum leaves, and the fan leaves are very yellow, with the stem slightly yellow.... From reading my handy dandy cannabis grow bible, i could conclude two things.... It is either a problem with chemical burn (i fed them about 2 days ago), or it is a problem with a nitrogen deficiency... Its obvious why i need to find this out, as if it is misdiagnosed as one or the other, then i would be doing the exact opposite thing to try and rectifdy the problem, hurting the plants even more....

I fed them two days ago, and about 4 days before that, at a quarter strength of what the box says each time.... The plant is about two weeks old, and the other three plant, which areant as old, have shown this problem to a much lesser degree as well....

On a completly different note, i dont have a reflector, nor do i want to spend the money to buy one as i already spent all my damn money on the 15oo watt MH..... What is the best way to make a home made reflector?

Thanks everyone

Well when in doubt flush the soil. Just use plain water and flush 4-5 times the amount of soil. If you can take a picture it might help us some. Check your ph and let the soil dry before waterings. I would use half strength of whatever the directions say for inside plants. I made a reflector out of some sheet metal once. It was ok but I bought a real one shortly after. Make sure the plant isnt getting to hot from the light. If its a 1500 watt light I would keep it atleast 24+" away till they strenghten up.

What is a good way to put pictures on this forum? The pics i take with ymdigital camera are WAY to big (the file size that is), and have to shrunk down so there barely visible to fit...

Go to the marijuana pics on the top of the screen. Then hit upload. It should resize them for you automaticaly. It will give you a link to the pic after you upload it. You can copy and paiste it on this thread. Grab the link with the [img} on it.

Ive got two pics in the gallery for you..... Could you do me two HUGE favors?

1)critique my grow rooms set up?

2) Tell me what the problem looks like to you on that one plant with the yellowing leaf and stem.... I think its too much nitrogen, or a chemical burn or whatever...

Also last but not least, is that a good plant size for two weeks? Im thinking its kinda small but ive never grown before so im not sure.... WHat could i do to speed growth...

Thank you SO much

Is that really a 1500 watt bulb. It looks kinda small. Its prolly just the picture. I dont know. What type of soil is that? I would think you wouldnt need very much fertilizer at that size. If any at all. More than likely you are going to need to flush the plants with plain ph'ed water. Sometimes when you over fertilize the growth will just seem to stop. I do it every once in a while myself. I just get so excited and want them to grow their ass off. But all I manage to do is hurt them. Since I have been coming on this board I have cut my nutes back about 1/3. More isnt always better.

It gets about 80-90 degrees in there... I guess thats not a good thing either? I know as fall advances it will get cooleer....

So, to flush the soil, i should pour like a gollaon of water through the soil of each pot?

Will this remove all the nuts that were in the soil to start with? should i fertilize regularly after this?

Also still on that last question, for indicas strains, are these plants good size for 2 weeks?
