sry but i completely disagree with you.

ive grown more than just a couple dinafem plants... each one, each seed has been a total win.

vanilla kush is terrible. the worst barney strain ive ever grown.

Critical + is a marvelous strain. ive never even heard of major hermie issues.

however to each his own. but i just have quite a bit of good experiences with dinafem.

havent ran alot of dinafem gear but got a blue widow and a blue hash freebie with an order and did a small test run with em and they grew fine... def not the best quality or taste but the yeilds where decent for the size of the plants... but my experience with the dinafem gear is very limited but never ha a problem with em besides they where at best fair specimens

geuss im lucky? the blue widow i grew was FIRE. piney smell and taste. nice colors on the outdoor plant of it too.
i was pissed i didnt clone the last time i ran the OGK and the C+. every ogk clone/bud i get or see sucks in comparison since then. very few have been of the same quality as the dinafem was.

yeah i have a blue hash freebie too.
im gonna try growing it next to kannabia mataro blue, and do a comparison since they are similar.

but anyways... just a' itchin' for them dinachems. and i just popped 4 seeds of Psycho killer too. gotta make sure i leave some room. im gonna have to just flower my slow ass veg'n bubba.

ya it the blue widow looked real nice but was very subtle in smell and taste i ran a C+ i put thru ton of stress and it stil had no issues jus bearly got feed and recived almost no attention so i couldnt really give that a fair assesment... where is your bubba from??

detroit... it appears to be from swerves bx2. i just happened to talk to the guy the other day. hes not the kind of person who pays a whole lot of attention to strain names and lineages. so i took us a while to find out if it was really the pre98. it looks like pre98 tho either way, so i was convinced. plus there is NO denying the REAL pre98 bubba when it comes to the smoke. and this stuff is for real. i wish my girl would grow faster damnit!

edit: like i said before i sure wish i woulda cloned my critcal + last time. it was just in the corner of a closet with some cfl's. no fancy nutes just molasses and a well mixed medium. i got about 1.5 ounces off of it. bright, lime green color buds, fire orange hairs. amazingly strong smell. the kind that gets you paranoid. it was impossible to conceal w/o a carbon filter. just under cfl's too. i wish i had that plant now, under my 1000 or 600.

I have heard that from alot of people that grow the Pre98 Bubba... that and its a pretty low yeilder... that is what has steered me away for the most part but genesee county has a Katsu Kush that is a bubba that floats around and it is f'n great... most the descriptions you here on bubba is it has a coffee smell but the Katsu didnt have any coffee smell to me... so i dunno not familiar with any bubba or bubba crosses so i have no clue... does yours have the coffee hashy smell??? and what you think the yeilds gonna be like on that??

I don't necessarily agree with you either skunkyum. You say each seed was a total win. How many seeds did you actually run? I've ran over 15 Dinafem Beans and not a single one was worth keeping. The white siberian I ran twice because it had a nice flavor but the blue hash and critical + all tasted too generic. I'm no amature when it comes to growing and breeding organic, flavorful bud and out of my 20 some seed company strains I have grown out, Dinafem genetics have set me back the furthest and I wish I could have that time back.

no my bubba is more fruity sweet thank god. i hate chocolate tastes. this bubba was kept for the taste over the others.

yeah u have to keep it dry as hell. it hates being watered... so its hard to properly water the thing if your not running it alone.

my buddy gets like 4 ounces off of big, long veg period, bubbas. his other plants produce closer to a pound on average. the smoke is just so good...

im considering breeding out my bubba with a papaya male i have in veg right now. the papaya is a strong indica, but it grows much faster and has a lot more stretch than the bubba.
i may also get a male out of the psycho killers and that would be ideal because its a fast grower from what ive read. so we shall see. i have a blackberry x grape ape thats being tested out right now too. one of the phenos stinks to high hell, nice and fruity too.

i have contimplated runnin the bubba a few time but always go else where i hope it turns out good for ya tho smellz. that blackberry x grape ape sounds very interesting... was that a homemade cross???.. you could call it black ape err wait that might catch a bit of critisism... either way that should be a tasty herb no doubt..

same growth patter of my blue widow but mine had none of the coloration.. looks like a blueberry dom pheno... def looks good tho man i think you may have found a keeper pheno of the BW nice job

hahaah i know. we said the SAME thing. especially here in flint. yeah my damn blackberry had a couple nanners and it hit my indica grape ape i had next to it. got about 30 beautiful seeds from it tho. i got one thats looking like a keeper so far, it even has a polyploid tendancy. which some people really like. i suppose i could see it increasing the yield if u know what to do with polyloids.

nah man... its super widow heavy pheno to me. but yeah i got one under my 600 right now. the damn thing got burned from chlorine tho... i can go get a pic if u wanna see both that and the blackape

btw the color was only on the leaves for the most part... boo. outdoor too. the indoor is a dark green/blue-ish color when done right.

the grape ape on the other hand has 100% purple calyxes.

most def... so u already have those black ape testers in flower... good shit... did it throw any hermies?? i just got done doin a larry og x violater kush that threw a couple beans it self... not sure if ima run em cuz i got a test run of some Rare Dankness gear i have to do along with some purple og #18's and a few singles ima throw in the mix... i have a thread "What beans to bust" check it out and give me an opinion on what i should throw in the mix with the other packs

and yeah 100% female so far. im waiting to see if it throws nanners. cuz the grape ape was a bagseed too. so its now got hermies on both sides technically. at least more than likely. however. 99% of strains have hermies in the genes, ive slowly began to realize that. its just nature doing its job to pro-create.
