Hey everyone this is my plant a 3 months into veg it is in a drip system under a 400w hps using fow farm nutes, i changed the lights and nutes to 12/12 two weeks ago. Can anyone tell me how much you think i should get off this one, it is my first grow, dont know what strain it is either but it was some good bud, the plant is about 3 feet tall right now and has many branches, and comments would be greatly appreciated, also anyone know of a way to speed the flowering process?

Here are some more pics i have a few close ups i dont know if you can tell the strain by the leaves but if anyone has a clue what this might be please let me know

No1 will be able to tell the strain but it looks to me as it is a mixture of indica and sativa,.mostly sativa.......

in my second set of pictures there is a close up of one of the nodes, on the right side there is a pointy thing coming out of the side between the main stalk and the branch, i was led to belive this is a resin sac and the onset of flowering by one of my friends but there are no hairs coming out of it please take a look and tell me what it looks like to you. thanks

its not showing sex yet dude just start to flower it if you want to find out the sex or take a cutting and flower that

i have already started flowering 2 weeks ago i changed the nutes from grow big to tiger bloom also i tied down the branches today after reading what twistyman had said, i wanted to know though, i tied alot of the larger branches down but i didnt know how far down to go and it felt like there was a good bit of stress on a few of the branches but i assume that is normal i need to know should i be tying all my large branches down or how much do i need to be tying down? also as i said i started 2 weeks ago on the new light schedule and nutes wouldnt you think it should be showing sex by now?

i dont understand why everytime i post something only like 3 people will answer is this because no one else that can answer my questions and help me out

I can see no sign of sex from those pictures. Keep and eye out for some white hairs. Two weeks is generally long enough for sex to show, but I guess it could be specific for the strain. Patience is the most difficult thing with growing and one of the most important. If you do not have a magnifying glass I recommend getting one. Those hairs can be difficult to see with the naked eye.

There is really no way to tell what the strain is but a general rule of thumb is broader leaves and bushier shorter plants = indica, long slim leaves and tall plants = sativa. With all the hybrids around no doubt its a mix of some sort and there is no way to tell by looking at it. If the seeds came from something that was good then your plants have the potential of being just as good.

I am a noob grower but this website has been very helpful in overcoming some of the hurdles. I find the hardest thing is the waiting game. I waited to go to 12/12 I waited to see if I had males or females and now I am waiting for the right time to harvest. I am almost at the end of my third week of 12/12 now I am waiting till 6 weeks to see if its time to start flushing.

Good luck and hang in there. The advice you are getting is solid and many times folks will not respond if there is nothing more to say.

As far as tying down, well I did not do that I just added some CFLs around the bottom of my plant and on the sides to add more light. I can not give any information on what to tie down or where. Hopefully someone with experience in that will respond to your question.
