Cheap and easy 4x4 grow tent!

I ran out of space again and didn't want to go spend a couple hundred on a tent at the hydro store. total cost was under 45 after tax!
Items needed
(8 ) 8 foot long 1x1's $10
(1) box of screws $5
(2) 10x10 sheets of panda plastic $20
Tools used
(1) coping saw
(1) screwdriver

Yours is very nice but a little more work than I wanted to put into mine for about the same thing! I only spent about about 20 minutes putting this thing together. Mine would also be about 30 dollars if it was that small, I needed 2 10x10 sheets of plastic for mine so it bumped it up to 40. Never meant for it to be the nicest ever Just figured I'd post it!

If I do spill it's only a few drops, I have plastic trays under my buckets to catch the run off. If there was a larger spill it would stay in the tent until I cleaned it up the floor is ground level and the plastic is double layered and wrapped over the frame boards giving an inch lip all the way around.

Looks good. Wish I had room for more exploration into alternative grow areas. The traditional "Closet grower" be me.

you sure make the tent looks so easy and effective, i gotta ask you some question because im gonna use your idea for my grow tent as well im wondering about the vents becuz i dont see any vents in your tent ? i have two fan cpu cooler, the sheet panda will hold that fan ? i have make a ply wood to hold fans? thanks

i use the tent for veg with t5's. I only have fans inside and didn't cover the top with plastic so any heat rises out of the tent.

What are t5's..??

T5's are Fluorescent lights. the round tubes. like the one hanging on the back wall in this picture.

Does the light coming out the open top interfere with the 12/12 light cycle in your other tent? Assuming you have the small tent in veg cycle while the larger tent is in flower cycle. I ask because I'm planning to have three tents, 1 for cloning, 1 for veg, and 1 for flower.

I closed the top, but if your other tent is sealed it shouldn't matter.

I got real lucky and had three 250W hps kits and one 400W mh kit with extra lamps for both leftover after one of my jobs(I'm an electrician), and that's what I'm using full-term in my 4'X4' closet, with a couple old, but reliable and quiet fans. And I am what I call, "super-cropping" the 4 random strains that ended up being females out of the 9 I started. i think one is a G.D.P. I got when I was wiring a big coop out in CA, and another is a different purp, not sure, but i think it's a haze, one is a pure sativa, and the other a different more hashy smelling hybrid. But, my God, the awesome soil mix I put together with several different ingredients, incl, nitrogen strong bat guano, worm castings, diluted liquid seaweed, peat moss, perlite, and some fairly plain, but 100% organic soil coupled with the excellent light, temp, and pruning and branch-bending techniques are proving to show me a bumper harvest! Still gonna veg 'em out for about 4 more weeks tho. But, it will surely be a very, merry Christmas for me, and some friends!! Good luck with the tent/chamber idea!
