2009 wow, but no the less, it still helps people that are thinking about using FF nutrients.
Uncle Ben seems to like it and I have no complaints.

I use Cha Ching the last 4 weeks of flower on 8-9 week strains. Without it my yield is 25% less. I'm sure I could find a replacement but I have no reason to. I use Open Sesame late veg early flower to get those pistils going, only use beatie bloomz about 2 weeks because it's so strong and I use tiger bloom from week 3-7 every other fed at half dose and big bloom every watering full dose except once every 3-4 feds. I use other additives to like humic and fulvic acids, cal-mag stuff, root stuff ect. but I use Cha Ching up until I know when I will harvest and then flush for 5-7 days of straight water. Works for me, if I didn't use Cha Ching I'd have to find something else to get that extra resin build-up.
I'm in FFOF soil and basically have a HALF all organic and HALF chem nutes, nothing wrong with mixing it up as microbes can thrive in partial chem environments.

DO NOT use Cha Ching in week 3 of flower. Wait until week 5. I tend to take 8-9 week strains to 70 days of 12/12 and Cha Ching could actual slow up the bud production in mid flower.

You guys that know me know I refuse to use anything "cannabis specific". Don't trust the bastards and they're a big rip off value wise.

Never used Fox Farm products. Closest thing I've come to those organics is applying my own home brew of Espoma Citrus and Avocado food, 5-2-6, with added blood meal and bone meal and MycoApply Soluble Maxx to 10 young citrus and avocado trees growing in a greenhouse a couple of days ago. It will take at least a month to assess the effectiveness. This is in addition to using a Polyon product which I use on thousands of plants including cannabis, from start to finish. Here's a label which I scanned. I buy it in 50 lb. bags:

Espoma, another organic vendor hyping it up on the trendy "organic" and "All natural" buzzwords. I can only laugh, as one of the ingredients is Muriate of Potash....inorganic from petro sources. Damn, there goes that Cha-Ching sound again! http://www.espoma.com/p_consumer/tones_citrus.html

Didn't mean to speak for you Uncle Ben. I assumed, and we all know what happens when you assume things.
This is the first time I have used cannabis specific nutrients and I am suspicious of them myself, ( pricey bastards ).
Thanks for the links and the good info as always.

FoxFarm was recently bought out by Monsanto :fire:. Be careful when using their soil blends.

Ocean Forest and Happy Frog have had all of their organic ingredients taken out of them! Even though I laugh whenever I see "Natural and Organic," their new label on the bottom of the bag says "Smart Naturals."

Be careful when using that soil anyway, it is very hot out of the bag, and can (prob will) burn your babies if transplanted and fed nutes. I usually just start with a high colonizing tea for the first couple of weeks whenever I use a highly amended soil.

Check out the Boogie Brew. It is full of beneficial fungi and microbes, as well as a light dose of food from the sea kelp and oyster shell. Works great as a foliar too, so you can help prevent PM

I have this product. I suspect it is not 100% organic. The label information is a shade ambiguous on that point.

NPK: 9-50-10. Good for flowering. It is highly concentrated so go easy on it. Real easy.

I stopped using it indoors because I kept burning my ladies using it.

Now it only gets applied to outdoor crops if I use it at all. I have found it works much better outside.

Good luck and good growing.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. It will fry plants if not careful.

Unless you're going for a 16 week flowering strain, the bone meal takes too long to break down to become usable to the plant. It's great for long term soil amending, however you might consider fish bone meal for more readily available P.

I've used bone meal for decades witness my avatar. One of the main reasons I like organics is the slow release of their chemicals. Plants don't like a fast-feast-fast type diet.

Not sure what you mean by soil amending.

I'm assuming you use the same soil over and over again, and since you do so the bone meal obviously works well for your situation.

The thing is, fish bone meal provides similar nutrients, but it available to your plants in 1 to 2 months instead of 4 to 6 months like bone meal.

For most pot farmers who are only growing the plant for 4 months total, and then discarding their potting soil, bone meal is not worth the investment.

I use FFOF soil and FF veg nuets for veg and into the first two weeks of flower,
then I switch to Dyna Grow Bloom and H&G Shooting powder all the way to
harvest. Shooting Powder layers buds and builds buds on top of buds.

I also use liquid seaweed/kelp meal every feeding and Molasses every once in awhile
from beginning of a grow to the very end with awesome results every time.
Produces solid, potent and big buds always.

I don't reuse my soil.

Unless you've done a soil analysis at any given points in time, all you've got going is conjecture.

Like I said, it works for me.
