CFM. . .the more the better?

I am looking into buying a 6" in-line fan that has a rating of 160cfm. I have a cabinet that is 3'x1.5'x5' (22.5 cubic feet). will this fan be sufficient? Thanks

More then enough. I hear you take your cubic feet and multiply by 5. If your cfm matches it, you're air should be filtered less then every 5 minutes.

Are you putting a charcoal filter on it?

not yet but i will. it will be connected to the other side. i might make one first to see how it works. i will be dumping the expelled air into the attic. if i notice a problem i'll probably buy one from the ebay safety filter store.
