Cfl setup

Hey guys first post and new to Rollitup. First of I'm growing 1 clone that's sour flo X lemon haze. I'm into week 4. I've topped the plant an also did some LST. I was using 4 100 watt cool white cfl and one flourscent tube. The tube is a light purple due to the phosphorous inside not working. She's on a 24 hour light schedule The plant is in a 3'x2'x4' box that's painted white and has mylar on sides and back wall top has a 3" hole for heat and old air, and as well as two 2" holes for Intake
Currently under a scrog net that's 2'x2' one small office fan for air flow. I will be adding another fan soon to increase exhaust flow. Keep her at 74-77 degrees and about 60%-40% humidity. I feed her age old grow 16-6-6 for vegetative growth as well as bat guano 10-4-1 and currently in black gold cocoa mix with some added perlite. Using distilled water to quench her thirst once I have a good majority popping through I'll trim below the scrog and put into flowering. Might have to get a couple more cfls but this is her progress

Your scrog is looking pretty sweet. You would definitely need more cfl's now to get more coverage. Your at week 4? That's some fast growth. If that's all the space you got I would flip the switch now or beginning next week. The 1st 3 weeks of flower the stretch is insane! You can still scrog the 1st week but then after you should let them grow through the netting and they should be between 8-10 inches from the net.

Well technically it's week 6 now, my first post was on week 4 day 3... And thank you I don't know how tall they will get once I flip the switch, and I am going to go pick up 4 more 100 watt 2700K, Im so new to this and hoping I won't outgrow my box haha thanks for the info have you cloned? And if so, what rooting agent did you use. I ask because when I lollipop I want to clone some of the clippings...I know people suggest the top nodes but since I'm pulling material off might as well use it right?

I never grew all the way with cfL's. I only used them in Veg and have a a 600 watt Hps for flowering. From my researches only 4 bulbs might not be enough. I would use all 8 that you have but don't expect any crazy amount of yeild. If you can. I'd go with an hps. If not use all 8 or even add more. I'm not so sure if there's a difference in the stretch between cfl or hps. If there isn't, you should expect about 8-12 inches of growth. Make sure to let it grow well above the net. I was literally in the same situation as you about two months ago and said f it and went all out and got the whole set up. Yeah I spent a lot but will probably make it back my 2nd harvest.

Cloning.. It's easier than you think. I actually have 100% success rate currently. Yes I'm surprised. 1st clone took wayyy tooo long though but I learned why and now I can get roots pretty quickly. I use clonex gel and rockwool. Some suggest root riot cubes for soil and not rockwool. The riot cubes do look better but rockwool works fine. You can buy a bottle of clonex from amazon. Then watch a couple of YouTube videos.

Yeah you can clone from your lollipops. I wouldn't touch any top nodes. You can even take some now if they're good size. I wouldn't go past 3 weeks in flower though.

Thanks a bunch! I'm going to the store after work to start cloning either tomorrow or sometime this weekend.I'll keep everything updated. And yes I will have 10 cfl's all together 4 100 watt 2700K 3 100 watt 5000k and 3 65watt 6500k, I seen videos on YouTube of a guy having a mixed spectrum for flowering, how many lumens would you suggest????..... I'll get an hps once I have a few more dollars and get some techniques down, oh and I found two Nats in the box flying (I murdered them cold blooded) so how can I prevent more from appearing.

You would want more 2700 bulbs for flowering 6-8 then fill the rest with 5000+. I never got into the lumens thing. I just made sure i had good coverage and that did me good. U also need a reflector, It would help. You can make one easily using an aluminum food tray pan. As for gnats.. Did you get a good look at it? Could be something else.. If you didn't I would suggest getting the yellow sticky cards and put it on top on your soil and watch what bugs shows up there so we can properly identify it.

Deleted previos post but this is my homeade hood used a shoe box and aluminum tape made sure not to wrinkle so I would focus the light and cause burns when I add lights, but I'll make a strip to hold 10 more cfl's. I know you can never have enough light as long as I can keep the heat down. An yes a gnat, either that or a fruit fly... Lol I didn't see one trimming sugar leaves and tomorrow I decided to clone since I'm clipping some unwanted leaves

I'm battling heat right now too. I don't use ac and the weather here been hot. Here's my cfl set up for Veg, you can see the pan I was talking about. My 1st set up and just kept it lol. Ghetto but works. Who cares right? Haha its getting crowded. 2 plants at week 7 Veg and a bunch of clones and smaller plant.

Hahaha what's ghetto style? Is mine ghetto? And equivalent watts, I don't think I've seen an actual 100 watt cfl bro if so show me, I want some... These are 23 watt and two 13 watt 6500 K all together veg is 118 watts for cfl, it's just my one and only clone hahah but lumens is a total 12,050 if I did the math correctly which is far from my 20,000 lumen goal. But if I get my extra ten bulbs then I'll surpass my mark for cfl flowering lumens, watts are hard to very, only because some bulbs can produce more lumens (brightness of light) then others and use less watts. But I really Need to get my clones and switch lights soon, 82 degrees at 44% humidity and no signs of "gnats or fruit Fly"

If it's being held together by some tape its ghetto lmao (which mine is to a certain extent) and I can't say ive seen a 100watter but ive seen 125 Watters so far 55w 2700k and 35w 6500 are the two biggest ive seen in my local wm/hd cleared wm of them lol and careful about adding to many bulbs dont want to overheat your area my 3x4x7' closet starts getting a lil warm at 293 watts

Haha I think zaybe has a node like that, but fuck it if it works then it's all good. Yup so adding my 2700Ks tomorrow, getting my clones off, and switching the lights. So much to do but first to get my supplies in the morning, I already have a spare fan for when I add extra bulbs because my space is smaller, and if yours gets hot then it worries me, but here's the underskirt of her... lol plenty of clones to be taken haha I know I shouldn't have done it but I evened it a couple time. lol More keep popping up from beneath and it fills up empty space. Each picture is a different day slowly filling up spaces

Looking good and taking clippings from the bottom is a good idea those branches won't get any light so your just getting rid of branches that the plant is wasting energy on so hey clone away lol and yeah if you have good exhaust heat will be less of an issue still in the process of setting up my exhaust in my closet so soon as that is set up my heat should go down as well but make sure those girls get the light they need keep up the good work bro im envious
